Jo Adell, what an idiot. He was on 1st in the bottom of the 2nd inning when a deep fly ball was hit to Teoscar Hernandez in left. Hernandez made the catch, but upon brushing his glove against the wall, the ball fell out. Adell, halfway between 1st and 2nd, turned and retreated towards 1st after seeing Hernandez apparently make the catch.

But what was his hurry? If he’d watched the play for one more split second, he’d have seen the ball fall to the warning track. Instead the bozo nearly ran into his teammate who had just rounded 1st. Adell then turned and ran for 2nd and got thrown out, giving the Dodgers an early gift.

Athletes are highly skilled, but many are boneheads like Jo Adell.

Instead of two on with nobody out, the Angels would wind up stranding runners at 1st and 3rd.

Following a leadoff double by Jorge Soler to begin the bottom of the 4th, the idiot Jo Adell just looked at a called third strike right down the middle.

And then Andy Pages dove to catch a liner off the bat of Nolan Schanuel to end the inning. Jacob Wrobleski continues to have a lucky season. The Angels are hitting the ball hard off of him tonight, and so far……..nuthin’.

Jose Soriano has allowed only one hit through 5 innings, but that one hit in the 1st inning cost him. 

Wrobleski walked off the mound at the end of the 5th with a smile on his face as two more Angels popped up his hanging sliders to Andy Pages in shallow center.

Useless former megastar Mike Trout looked at a called third strike right down the middle in the 1st inning and has since popped up twice, including getting under that cookie to end the 5th.

The “great” Jose Soriano turned into a big scared wussy in the top of the 6th, walking the ballpark and exiting in disgrace. This game has been decided.

Who gives up 6 earned runs on only one hit? Sweaty Jose Soriano does when he completely loses control of the strike zone.

This bastard did something similar last year on July 8th when I bet on the Angels at home vs. the Rangers. He pitched three shutout innings before beginning the 4th by walking 3 of the first 4 batters. Next thing you knew, five runs were in and the bumbling Angels went on to get trounced 13-1.

Disgusting inning to walk 4 and hit 2 batters 

dodgers have one hit in the inning but score 6 runs 

Jo Adell finally comes through……when it no longer matters. A meaningless 2-run double to make it 6-2. 

Maybe the Dodgers bullpen will walk five or six Angels in one inning to even things up here.

Or maybe not.

The team winning 6-2 is getting out-hit 7-2. You might never see that again.
