Weathered, are you going to continue posting in baseball daily? You are pretty much the only consistent poster here in baseball who wins. i hope you continue to post.
I heard you say you are busy with online poker and those Full tilt poker tournaments. I know you said you play those FTOP tourneys so you must be a high roller. I think those tournaments cost at least 330 dollars to play and many of those tourneys are 500 dollars and up? Some i see are like 1000 dollars to buy in.
By the way, how much is a unit for you in baseball? Reason i ask this is b/c i would like to know how much to gamble in sports versus poker? If you play 500 dollar buy in tourneys, i am assuming your 1 unit in sports betting is around 200 or so?
Reason is i only play cash games online but am a micro player.
I only play 50NL online cash but when i bet on sports and tail you, i wager around 100 a game usually tailing you and some other great cappers. Do you think one should bet more on sports betting or in poker. I am an average low limit online player but have played since 2005 but again only 50NL.
Thanks man.

Actually i think 200 for a unit may be too small for you. i think more like 250-500?
I always had this problem with my units b/c some times i bet 100/game and somethings i chase like crazy putting 500 in a game or more and got crushed by it. Whats even worst was i lost like 6K chasing.
thanks and take care weathered.

ok I will try my best to answer everything you asked...
1. I will post baseball as much as I can....like I have said before I have alot of other things going on so I dont have time to play bases every day.
2. I have done very well for myself playing online Poker since 2001. So I can afford to play some higher buy-in events.
Some advice....learn to play more games than just No Limit Hold'em....there is so much money to be earned playing other games. If you learn to play all the games well your doing yourself, and your bankroll a huge favor.
3. And my Units vary on how I am doing....if you read my first post I say 1 Unit = 5% of my MLB bankroll. So take a look at how much money you have to wager on bases....figure out what 5% is on that day....and thats your bet.
So basically if I'm doing well and my 'roll is growing the wagers are larger....if I'm on a downturn the wagers are smaller.
4. Dont compaire the amount of money you gamble at Poker to the amount of money you gamble at Sports. Two very seperate things, and you need to keep seperate bankrolls for each (and then split your Sports bankrolls into sub-sports catorgorys. ex. MLB, NFL, NHL, ect.)
