AND if they don't pan out tomorrow, well then the SYSTEM did not work, and I will scratch the system. If it works tomorrow, then I'll give it one more series of tries to see what happens.

The game started at 1:05 pm eastern - I posted at 12:22pm eastern (43 minutes before the start of the game). The Time Stamp is clearly there on the posting.
I posted at the same time (well 2 minutes early actually) in the 1st 5inn thread.
I'm not sure how you see that I posted after the game started?
Maybe you are just mistaken?

I will fully admit that ONE TIME, I did post after the fact, two plays. I stated when I posted them that they were after the fact as well.
I have posted 132 of my plays (MLB THIS SEASON) prior to game time - one time I was not at home prior to game time, I made my plays by telephone and posted two of my plays after the game.

OK, so, I've tweaked my series system plays a bit, and I am only going to be playing 2 series this go around, PHI at home & TB away.

Game # 1 PLAY - 5/7/10
PHI Vs ATL = PHI -122 (1.22 to Win 1.0) - HOME 
TB @ OAK = TB -122 (1.22 to Win 1.0) - AWAY

PHI Vs ATL is basically fading ATL on the road.
ATL is 4-12 on the road and 3-8 Vs top 10 teams.
PHI is 8-5 at home, which isn't great, but that might help keep the price reasonable as well.

TB has the best Road Record and the Best Overall record in MLB 21-7.
TB has only lost 1 road game so far this season 12-1.
OAK is 11-6 at home, which should help keep the price reasonable.
OAK is abysmal Vs Top 10 teams w/ a record of 2-7.
OAK has solid pitchers going all 3 of these games.

By limiting this to the best two series, based on my projections, I can get back to my bread and butter which is 1st 5inn plays.

Why don't you keep the same strategy but bet opposite?

You might have found the perfect faders strategy

Sparty: Decent thought - BUT....
If I would have bet opposite, then I would have still lost big time.
I played 5 series last time, won 3 of them, but I chased the other 2 series, which is what the system was based on. LAA was swept in 4 games and CHC was swept in 3 games.

Basically I grabbed two series that I should have ignored.
Not only were both Away, but LAA was not playing well over their last 10. And for the life of me, I still can not figure out how CHC couldn't hit those crap Pitchers that PIT threw out there. Plus CHC SP were solid prior to this series.
CHC @ PIT Series = Cost me -15.96 Units
LAA @ BOS Series = Cost me -8.70 Units
I won 1.0 units each on the NYY, SDP, and TOR series'.

ATL is 1-3 on the road Vs a +1.5RL
ATL is 1-5 overall Vs a +1.5RL
(so PHI is OK Vs -1.5RL and ATL is terrible Vs +1.5RL - FADE ATL)

TB is 11-2 on the road Vs the RL.
TB is 11-1 on the road Vs the RL in their Wins.
TB is 18-10 Vs the RL overall
TB is 17-4 Vs the RL overall in their Wins.
TB is 10-2 on the Road Vs -1.5RL.
OAK is 3-3 at home Vs a +1.5RL.
OAK is 8-8 overall Vs a +1.5RL.
(so, TB is GREAT on the road Vs a -1.5RL, while OAK is Avg Vs a +1.5RL - PLAY TB)

Some Info/Thoughts
*Playing the PHI -1.5RL for same reason's as yesterday. (ie: Fade ATL RL on the road)
*The RL trends also point to playing TB -1.5RL, but I just don't feel great about the SP matchup between Sheets (OAK) and Davis (TB).
*BAL +1.5RL & MIN -1.5RL are both about .500 against that type or RL, however I wasn't going to lay -245 to get Liriano.
