Houston struggled to score runs against Porcello! With Fister on the mound the Tigers should only have to score a couple of runs.

Diamondbacks lost 3 in a row thanks to their BP constantly blowing leads going into the late innings. They have been resting guys and had a day off yesterday, so I am looking forward to a much better effort from the BP. Miley has been really good this season and I see Dbacks breaking their losing streak here.

With $$ on the Over and the line dropping to 9, I believe this was intended to invite more Over bets. With Doubront on the mound and the way the Red Sox have been playing lately, the Over was a no brainer. BUT, I think the travel from Toronto to Texas may slow down their bats tonight.
Think the runs come at a premium tonight. I've said when 2 elite pitchers hit the mound, one of them tends to struggle. That mostly occurs when the Total is set to 7. I'm going to think Kershaw wins this for his dad today and may even toss a complete game.

As Music Matt said.. kershaw's dad died few days ago.. his first start since is today.. lifetime vs the giants: 127Ip.. 1.81era 134 k's.. HE OWNS THE GIANTS!! KERSHAW IS THE GIANTS DADDY.. i like ml first 5 innings cause it's a win/tie option since i think zito will throw well at home.. this will be a very low scoring game.. i'd bet a lot of money the giants don't score more than 3 tonight, that's at least a hedge..
giants could win if the game is 1-1 in the 8th inning.. but if zito doesn't throw a gem giants don't take this.. but i think zito does go 7ip 1-2 er.. so this game will be good till the end.. i got LAD 3-1..

Shelby Miller has proven me wrong too many times this year. Milwaukee has done a lot of damage against lefties this year I think Miller handles the lineup pretty well.

Bud Norris is a guy that just plays great in his home ballpark. A lot of value here for a guy that pitches that well at home. After last nights game and fatigued players the advantage goes to the dog in my opinion

Kazmir is still finding his rhythm after spending the past two seasons out of MLB. I'll take the stronger pitcher over the first five.
