    lan,

maybe the avatar switch is necessary to reverse some karma? I moved from Colt McCoy & Quan Cosby to Justin Mason in a time of need, and I think it really changed the feng shui...

...that may be completely ridiculous, but i can't say i dislike the results since then. Good luck climbing up the mountain cuz i know i feel like Sisyphus

Are you sure this has nothing to do with the Phillies or a disliking for punk rockers?

Just kidding, bud. Well, this was my reasoning when I switched it a few weeks ago. Hoping to mix things up and reverse my fortunes. Maybe I will switch it one more time. A possible haircut is in the mix as well.

ChilitoKid:  Good post  I agree but it's hard to figure out which game has the most value.  I play a handful of games a day but bet differently I seem to get more unlucky than lucky but I believe there will be a big run of good beats coming. To make money in Sports it's tough but like Blackjack gotta win your double downs and splits.  Gotta win your big bets especially on +value bets.

Good points broker.. but a good player knows these things are gonna happen and doesn't waste his time complaining about it.  Furthermore, a good player limits the amount of hands he/she plays..

GL lans. been following your posts, and although I don't agree with all of them, when I'm unsure of a game, I look to see if you played it. if you did, i tail you. More often than not, it wins. keep up the good capping...

Of course, I was going to lose the Mets game. 5-1 lead? Ha, the Pirates had this one all along. Anyway, still going to keep my head up w/ tonight's games.

    ** Florida -122             2.5 UNITS
    ** NY Yankees -107      2.5 UNITS

    ~ Today's card ~

    ** NY Mets -1.5 +107                     2.5 UNITS
    ** Florida -122                                2.5 UNITS
    ** NY Yankees -107                       2.5 UNITS

SuperMario -- Thanks for the kind words. This is very true.

Pimp -- I am staying away from this game. Backe is even worse than Sanchez and Houston has done all of its recent bombardment against right handed pitching. Their entire lineup (except Pence, Loretta and Wigginton) is ice cold against lefties.

lan..anybody who tells you that the amount of games you play each nite doesnt matter either hasnt been gambling very long or are losing alot.. if you read any book on sports betting one of the 1st thing they will tell you is limit the  number of plays.. ESPECIALLY if you find yourself in a bit of a slump..EVERY game has some positive as well as some negatives on both sides  obviously the more positives the bigger the favorite .. i noticed viewing your picks you are willing to sometimes lay 2-1  for multiple units.. if you lay 2-1  for 2.5 units and lose you then have to win 5 games at even odds just to beak even..yes they seem real easy at first but suppose you bet the  mets today and pedro leaves game leading 4-1.. looks good until bullpen implodes and kills your bet..suppose you bet a monster pitcher against a relative schmo  and the schmo pitches well enough to  keep the game close.. you are then betting 2-1 against  the bullpen  rather than the monster  pitcher.. thats not what the line is based on   and i doubt if its that much of a factor in handicappind.. i realize it plays some factor but most of the time you are playing on the starters..if you take out webb and lee  the next best pitchers all have anywhere from 5 to 8 loses..most handicapping books  will tell you to limit your favorites to no more than 7 1/2 favs  (thats $1.50.. any more than that and the math will kill you.. they actually have stats that show you if you play all favs at x price  then you have to win x percentage of plays.. obviuosly the higher the fav the higher win percentage.. if you factor in playing 10 games a nite  and you would have to have tomorrows paper to show a profit.. if you find your self  in a slump  the WORST thing you can do is come out firing  with a full card.. its very evident you have talent at picking games  and you're 11-0 proves that out but you need to rethink your money management  and your amount of games.. some one who plays 10     = games a nite usually is an indication that his self confidence is not quite as high as he might think people who do this for a living play very few games each nite and even pass on nites that everything  doesnt click exactly..if your doing this just for fun then what you are doing is fine but if you are serious about it then what i am telling you is spot on.. sorry to go on and on and im not criticizing you just passing on imformation given to me 20 years ago.. and its still true..it may take a while to figure out how to elininate plays but if you put a cap on the odds and springled in a few live dogs you will be surprised how much better you will do.. yes you will throw away a few winners  but if that 2-1 fav goes down you saves 2 free plays for tomorrow.. BEST OF LUCK
