Couple things we know here. Chandler is off to a better start than Marquez, and the Pirates are killing right-handed pitching. They won’t let up, after years of frustration they are enjoying this. No rocket science here, just the obvious.
Note: I do not believe I have ever been so close on RoR, it is almost impossible to be at less than a buck profit and 0.1% on RoR. After today that will probably never happen again. Still, if you have not been in the hole you must be doing something right. Have a laugh and keep on truckin’.
Maybe another later, but right now the morning is going to get busy.

Pad's only edge is with the bullpen, and you've negated that. Marquez is past his prime; Bucs' lefty line-up should have no problem connecting; Ozuna's due to wake up and crank one, plus you're betting with a kid named Bubba on the hill that SD has never faced. Gotta like your chances.

Scary as Hades to agree with sac twice on the same day, but eventually the cream comes to the top. Mize-Tigers is the top, Ryan-Twins is not. HFA creates the favorite, not probability.

Really good points here. Although, the bullpens look similar if you start in the month of April.
4 games for both teams, as opposed to 5 in March. What could be a difference in success in March for SD, is starting the year out on the west coast(pitcher friendly), and their 2nd series vs the Giants(also pitcher friendly).
So in the month of April, 1 game vs SF, 3 game series @ Boston(who can't hit shit right now), the Pads bullpen:
.231 BA, 1.11 whip, 28.4% K, 2.43 FIP
In the month of April for Pitt, 1 game @ the great American small park, 3 at home vs the O's:
.215 BA, 1.19 whip, 27.6% K, 2.95 FIP
Kind of similar.

Long azz paragraph to explain all kinds of things I don't have to worry about. 5 innings is mano-a-mano, my starter against the other guy and who's offense is likely to hit.

Pittsburgh offense is needs lots of help! Run support is hardly ever existent! Mostly cast offs and hitters are seeing bullpen pitcher! Cheap skater owner!
