I did my handicapping analysis for this game and I come up with Tampa a -1.42  favorite.

I can bet them at -105 or so, getting + anything is a play for me.

I'm a Yankee fan, but Tampa is the play tonight.

Both pitchers are worse than their records indicate.

They have both pitched against below average teams for most of their innings.

Looking good PTB. I jumped on this after reading your post.

Betting horses can break your heart. But one day can make a years worth of betting sports.

I use to bet the horses but quit back in 1998 after winning $12,000 in one race & gave $8,000 back in 2 weeks. I still will bet the Kentucky Derby & Preakness every year but never bother with the Belmont big race.

Tamps looks good tonight as I thought they would show up for their 1st game on ESPN this season.

I believe that is her line, meaning that's the line she came up with, Tampa should be favored in her analysis.

Great game...and I'm a yankee fan.

I would play tampa in this game if I had to lay -105....That would give me my 20% theoretical edge...

My line was Tampa -1.42 times .2 = .284

Next 1.42-.284= -1.136

next adjust for home road +.0653 Yankees = -1.07

I would bet Tampa with a theoretical edge of 20% at -1.07

The books line was +1.41, so in theory we had a monster edge, and is was obvious watching the game, that the books line was way off,

So in summation My handicapping line was Tampa - 1.42

I would have bet Tampa at -1.05

I received +1.41 making it a great play.
