*I realize there is only 5 games left on TB's homestand, however, TB never lost 5 in a row at home in 2009.

Yeah you're right, but it's not my list. I saw it on another board as I listed in the first post.  But I also backed it up by showing that neither team lost everygame in a 6+ game homestand. I'm adapting mine to picking teams that never lost an entire 6+ game homestand.

Can you tell us your team list ?

Honestly I am going to stick to the top 10 home teams from 2009.  I bet the Cards and Cubbies more on whim, mainly because I was playing them anyways that day.  Luckily for me they both won.  So if you want the list, refer to the first post. 

I am also debating trying a new method of only chasing after a top 10 team loses the first game of six.  I haven't researched it past last year.  If you notice the top ten teams overall w-l record increases dramatically after GM 1.

2009 Top 10: 

GM 1: 62-43 or 59%

GM 2-4: 43-16 or 73%

GM 5: 0-0

GM 6: 0-0

If you eliminate the first game of a 6 game series and play the second game following a loss and increase your wager, there may be some success.  And to stray off system, if a losing stretch does in fact happen, like the 2006 Braves, you could adapt the system and continue the chase following that teams next home series.  And again I have not done my due diligence on this, however I'm willing to bet that a top ten home team has rarely lost 7 home games in a row.  Just thinking out loud.  Not sure if it has any substance, just speculating.  Feel free to add an idea or provide some constructive criticism towards the latter system.  Happy hunting.

...and to answer your next question.  I will indeed correct the 2010 W-L record to show only the top 10 teams record.  Even though the Cards and Cubs successfully survived 2009 without a 6 game home losing streak.

I have started following this but I passed on Seattle as they were playing another top ten pick from last year.

I hear ya, I didn't but I almost pulled anchor on the Dodgers even though I lost on them yesterday.  The juice is just so damn hign on such an underachieving team.  But I laid the chalk and hoped for the best.  I hope they pull it out because I really don't want to chase all that chalk.  Comes with the territory I guess.  Luckily the Yankees pulled out a 1st win.
