= The Giants had success last year @ Coors Field -vs- the Rockies. They were 6-3 @ Coors and they averaged 7 runs in 9 contests. Straight up, -vs- the Rockies, they've won 7 of their last 8 games. And today, this is really nothing more then a value play. I like that nobody really knows what Zito's performance will be like as he hasn't started a game since July of last year. And on the bump for the Rockies is Jhoulys (thanks, Google spellcheck) Chacin who hasn't seen the win column since August of last year - he was 0-4 the last month or so of baseball. Chacin saw the Giants 3 times last year, getting handed 2 losses. The last time Chacin faced the Giants @ home; 5.2IP, 7R, 4ER, 9 hits allowed and walked 4 batters. Giants won that game 8-5.
Now here's why I like the Game OVER, and both Team Total OVER's today as well. OVER's @ Coors was a popular thing last year, like in recent years, but last year they came very often - 49-31 the OVER hit. And 16 of their last 22 home games dating back to last year, have hit the OVER + out of the 9 times the Giants visited Coors Field last year... all but 1 game did not go OVER.
Today you have both teams back end starters on the hill. Mid-Day ball game. Beautiful Baseball weather in the month of April. Rockies home opener. And it wouldn't sound right by saying to expect some fireworks between these 2 ballclubs... but I believe we'll see that. Early runs. And hoping to cash on all totals before the 7th inning stretch.
On top of the above info & numbers stated - San Francisco Giants Baseball treated me very well during day games last year...

The Rockies are 0-6 when Jhoulys Chacin starts vs a team that has lost at least their last two games and the Giants are 29-13 in the first game of a road series when they are off a loss in which they held the lead. Take San Francisco

I just hope for one thing - I hope this forum doesn't get filled with the *OVER* that I will be posting...
Had a bad feeling about that COL/SF *OVER 9/9.5* - EVERYONE had this as their wager today...
I stopped counting @ about 25 that I checked... ![]()
