Been a really crappy week. Run lines especially. Dropping them tomorrow. Feel free to continue to bet them, I just don't like the variance.

September baseball is a crapshoot. So many teams have mailed it in. If by the end of the week record doesn't improve going to mail it in for the season.

I have done some data mining and discovered September has never been a great month profit wise. 

I firmly believe this is because teams throw in the towel. It is always important to review your model/system and find leaks or any areas where you can optimize bets.

From now on, I will restrict bets to teams that still have a reasonable chance to make the playoffs and to teams that have already clinched. I firmly believe teams want to maintain a winning mentality even if they are already in.

Going to stick with run lines for today as I cannot ignore the years overall record with them. They are still +EV bets despite the poor week. We have to look at the big picture, and not one bad week of negative variance.

how do I play the Runline on Bodog if the team is a dog ( Miami ) for instance,

Taking the dog on the [-1.5] RL (Miami) would be in reference to the RRL/reverse-run-line. this wager is available at Bodog, and is located/listed under 'Alternative' lines...you have to look for it
