Hello everyone. I wrote an earlier post with regards to my handicapping strategy. You can find it here on Covers:

Today I will post my plays. For the purpose of tracking, each unit is $100. We will start with a bankroll of $10,000. 1 Unit = 1%.

Please note I use decimal format. WAS ML 1.68STL/SD Over 8 2.00Just two plays today. Not enough season data on a few pitchers in today&#x27;s games. The mindset of the players of the game being played and how it plays out in various scenarios is often overlooked. It&#x27;s not just about ERA, WHIP, K/9, but how they setup the game. Some teams just can&#x27;t mount a comeback and rally behind their pitcher after giving up early leads. A big part of my handicapping is my own algorithm for calculating a teams mental state, attitude, and endurance. Good luck today fellows.

Thank you Benningo88.There is some interesting line movements on tonight&#x27;s games. The SD/STL total, the under, is getting hammered. A small breeze infield at ~5mph does not really concern me, but I guess we shall see how it plays out. Despite the poor offenses, these pitchers love to find a way to get players on base.Good luck as well.

Hi train, I thought about it, but because I flat bet, this method works best with decimal. In the end, the most important factor is Unit growth. I apologize to my fellow neighbors to the South!

Congrats Bixarro. I am new to this forum as well, but not to gambling. It is hard to find people to talk about it with so this is a great place. I am sure we can all help each other win here.

I don't bet parlays, but not because they can't be +EV, they can. They can certainly offer an advantage in some spots. If you can find 2-3 soft lines, or hit them early before they drop, you can max out your +EV. I avoid them personally because I really don't need a big payout. Most people bet parlays because they have a very small bankroll, or in a desperate spot. Others for entertainment. If you want to become a long term winner, and eliminate a lot of stress, go with singles.

I parlayed your picks yesterday since you had a card full of heavy favorites and a few were coming off home losses. I'll go with singles this time! Will be at the CWS -TOR game. Last night there were zero HRs and they still put up 9 runs. Like the over today

Great threads and great capping GS. I would guess that a good 80 % of my bets are devoted to parlaying and it&#x27;s not for any of the reasons that you mentioned above (bankroll size, desperation, entertainment, etc.) I bet parlays for the same reason you bet singles, that being to win money, nothing else and nothing more. If you have success in a specific sport, then you can have success betting parlays. I do have a specific sport I do very well at and as a result do very, very well with parlays overall. They can be most lucrative and you certainly don&#x27;t have to nickel and dime them like singles to make a substantial profit in the short/long term in my opinion. Bol with Sunday&#x27;s plays.
