betting with the herd isn't necessarily bad at all. If I can bet on a better pitcher that is somehow reliable on the playoffs close to even money against a team managing a bullpen rotation I will do that anytime of the day. Though still like Indians to win the series but not today.
This series will go to 7 games.
Weather forecast for tonight is heavy rain in Clevaland. If the game gets postponed tomorrow then this is an added rest for both teams. Gavin Williams and Messick just pitched and if Guardians will follow their regular rest schedule for pitchers, Tampa can capitalize on those absences to get this series back to Florida. I see Messick pitching game 6, williams game 7.
If weather is playable tonight and Guardians will be down early, I dont think they will force the issue. They will preserve Griffin, Cantillo and Cade Smith for a more crucial game 5. Rotation for tonight will most likely be Armstrong - Bibee - Ceconni - Sabrowski to close.

actually both teams didnt record a single hit after the 5th inning yesterday. both bats are cold. but it doesnt have to be the same today. if you look at today's circumstances and assume both bats will still be cold, which defense will be more reliable? bullpen or a traditional starter? I like my chances on Tampa to keep it close. also dont get fooled on martinez' 4.91 ERA, he pitched one game with only 3 innings and gave up 2 runs that is why that number is so inflated.

I gotta like the Rays because of a TB - Brewer future I have gotten when playoffs started.
But crazy turnaround where the Rays were pretty much the prohibitive favorite in the American League after there disposing of the NY Yankees.
Rays also controlled the (Tribe as I like to say)during the regular season.
So what’s different now? Well … the pitching. But TB has won a ton of games against good pitching.
This is a must game for Tampa and tonight weather ( and I think it will go off) is gonna be ugly.
Rain may not be as bad as originally thought but the wind coming off that lake absolutely will be. Gl with your play.

agreed on the must win angle and I think this is the game where they truly have an "advantage" and the game where they should win easily. This game will decide if they have a chance in the series or not, considering how the Guardians are playing. If they end up losing this game, cancel the show, series is over.
