Yea...because Jeter's only going to get 3,000 hits because he's been around long enough...not because he's a 1st ballot Hall of Famer or anything like that.

When he gets to 3000 supposedly Minka Kelly is going to blow the pitcher on the mound.  Hope nobody gets erected.  Oooops I meant ejaculected.

A little late because everyone knows now... but I was shocked to learn that NO YANKEE is in the 3,000 hit club.

I was almost certain that Mickey Mantle was in there.  I knew Babe & Gehrig & Dimaggio weren't... but I thought Mantle was in there.

Guess not... so  to the most overrated regular season baseball player in the league.

And I threw in the regular season because DJ is one of the best postseason hitters in MLB history.

 

And a pre-cheers  to you Sparky incase I'm not able to post for his 3,000 it.

In over 100 years of baseball, Jeter is going to be in the top 5 career hits all time.

I think the only thing Joey hates more than the Yankees is me...so I guess I don't think to much into it.

1st ballot Hall of Famers are now overrated. News to me.

Wow - you might have just jinxed the hell out of that 3500 - hell maybe even the 3000...Who the hell knows how serious that injury is.

 

I would hate to see his career end like that though...I would much prefer to see him struggle badly and be forced out of the game with ineffective play
