I spent a good chunk of the day at the office ignoring everybody so I could actually put the work in on this card. Then after all that, I finally land on the game I want and of course I get dragged away from the one thing I actually enjoy watching, win or lose, because I’m stuck on the phone listening to a grown man whine.

Anyway, Tampa is headed in the right direction. Let’s finish this thing and bring it home.

Yandy Diaz, take your motherfucking shirt off, bro. Huge insurance run to make it 7-2 for the good guys. Yandy is 2-for-3 with a homer and 2 RBI and has been right in the middle of this thing all night.

At around 70 pitches with 2 outs in the sixth, McClanahan has been efficient enough that Tampa can comfortably let him keep working. Through the five innings he had allowed just 2 hits, 2 runs with only 1 earned, 1 walk and no homers.

That is exactly what we wanted from him tonight

oh shit! College footbal is back tomorrow 

7-4 now. McClanahan gave us enough and got us through the part of the game we needed him to handle. Maybe they left him in a couple pitches too long, but that part is over

The Rays are 17-3 in Shane McClanahan's last 20 Home starts.
