Thanks. Like I said, I’m not claiming the Indians are going all the way, just that I thought their chances were a lot better than the odds they were given at the time.

The odds makers finally made the Indians the favorite from the AL central to win the WS.  It’s down to +2800.

They look great at the beginning of the season.  Down the stretch, it's only uncertainties. 

Value is, indeed, awesome.  Kansas City will put up a fight, nonetheless. 

My wager will be on a team from the NL.

This brings up a bad memory. In 1997 a friend went to vegas on vacation, I sent 800 to win on the Tribe at 10-1 before the season started. During the year 2 more friends went down I sent more at lower odds. Now I had 19k (in odds) riding on this. I still see Nagy with that ball bouncing over his head and Counsel rounding 3rd in the 10th in my sleep about once a month. People forget S Alomar didn't slide at the plate with a 3-2 lead and was out. He slides it is 4-2. Plus Mesa,  I don't want to get into him.

All I can say is I hope you have better luck than I did, if you get that far.

This team is amazing.  Every time they are down by a run in the 8th or 9th they just expect to win the game.
