Enlighten me football aficionados, what is a flap jacket? I had a jacket with flaps once, but I never wore it for football.

No big deal; folks are waiting for their favorite cappers to come on board. We could be a profitable, if lonely, group.

So the Yankees have been pounded all day long, the books finally move Det from +165 to +170.
Most people don't know that Matthew Boyd pitched with a bad hamstring and plantar fasciitis last year. His velo was way down. He looks healthy again, looking great in all his bullpen sessions.
Domingo German coming off that suspension for domestic abuse. The Yankees really don't know what to expect. He pitched a few games in a Dominican or Venezuelan league recently compounding a 7+ era.
I don't think I need to mention any hitting or bullpen pitching stats from the Tigers or Yankees so far this spring.
This line is a joke.

WTH,
Det.+165
SF +145
@barneybeans
Had to go against your Padres here, no way they can be my Padres at 1-4 so it was time to play my Giants,
Det.was just the biggest underdog, 165 is silly in these games, so why not.
GL you SICKOS
@KeyElement
They did not exist when we went to school or a bunch of pads he is talking about I do not remember having either, flax jackets to me are a military or police thing, never had them in sports or skin tight gloves they wear now.

Cleveland +118
Alec Mills is a fine young pitcher, but he's still uncomfortable glove side when getting in on left handed hitters. And the Tribe is using 6 lefties today.
Triston McKenzie is fire. Looks like a Praying Mantis throwing Tylenol.
After the 2nd inning anything can happen. I just don't expect the Cubs pen to hold a team scoreless 2 days in a row.

OK, Puff, since none of you dolts can figure it out (not even the supposed quarterbacks, cough, choke) they sometimes wear flack jackets, yes, the military kind. Now go have your Mary Jane Flap Jacks and smile again.

boring read - please skip this:
Wager size in order to avoid fractions on COVERS:
1U
2U
3U - avg betsize
4U
5U
6U
so using this as 1U guide:
ST 2021 1U = $20
MLB 2021 1U =$100
NFL 2020 1U =$25
NCAAB 2021 1U= $50
(see how Spring Training is 1/5th of MLB Reg Season? I know I said 1/4 but uh... )
I do not go % of bankroll as Key does, another topic.
So a 3U in Spring Training = $60
a 4U play in NFL = $100
I can go in MLB 2021
1U =$100
2U=$200
3U=$300 AVG BETSIZE
4U=$400
5U=$500
6U=$600
If 3U is my avg betsize (everyone else's 1U), because I don't flat bet, and believe in betting more or less based on the strength of the play, dong this I don't need to be in fractional bets here on Covers - I can up my avg betsize a tad by going to 4U - instead of 1U being avg betsize going to 1.20U.
A lot of Covers player use 1U as an avg betsize and don't use fractions so they are constantly double their bets when they feel a strength in the play.
Doubling and tripling an average bet is not smart, we all know that. But edging up or down a bit works for me. Doing it this way is easier to read and score here on Covers.

The best part about it is that I was completely wrong about the first 2 innings. Mills breezed through it, and McKenzie got roughed up.
But then our savior Craig Kimbrel pitched the 3rd
Leaning AZ and SF but calling it a night.
Good Luck gents

@barneybeans
You did not have to explain yourself at all, I just saw on your perfect day that you won 12 units which was where the comment came from, your way is much better than most on covers and you mention it yourself, a 5 unit for some of these guys is 5 times a normal bet which makes it very hard to win money, I do it like you where I will raise a bet by x amount if I like it. But my normal bets was about half of yours since being laid off and that being that after Trump quit doing anything about virus I had to use my bank on bills and it has become an fund now when needed.
@undermysac
So I thought Det.was a loser after 7 but they went 9 so the bet was cancelled at 1-1, now I just need my Giants to beat up on what could be my Padres unless my Dodgers run away with it since we spent a billion on payroll.
So what or how do you know the amount of innings they are going to play? ANYONE?
