Odds defying as well because CUBS starter, Boyd, pitched VERY WELL....allowing only 4 on base thru 5.0 ip (2 ER and 6 K)

My bet on YANKEES violates my capping rule to WAIT for 2 consecutive GOOD performances at the plate before considering them again.  They had a good day yesterday but today was supposed to be a hard pass, except that I am experimenting with something different today and it calls for a bet on Yankees regardless...

 

...but sure enough, top of the 1st inning, Yankees "ace" starter, FRIED, struggles, allowing 3 on base, no K's, and 2 earned runs to the Orioles 

 

...of course.... an_smash

Their extended batting SLUMP continues...

On my way to another horrific LOSING DAY....I need BOTH the Padres and Giants to win at home so I don't lose too bad....but right now PADRES are in deep trouble...
