I honestly can’t recall a complete idiot ever going 0-8, but you’re on the verge of making history—keep those picks coming, you’re the MVP… of fading. You’re an absolute joke. The moment you tried to act like some “sharp” and started dropping nothing but underdog run lines, it was painfully obvious you were dealing with a severe case of mental poverty—possibly even a brain tumor. This STARTER is riding a tenuous 8-game HOT STREAK, 
WITHOUT a BAD outing in that streak .....YET!
...but this should be anticipated to end at anytime!!! 
Make no mistake, this dude and others I will identify in the future are GOOD starters - some of them exceptional! HOWEVER, probability says "consecutive streaks won't last long"...All GOOD pitchers will have an "off" day and get roughed up - sometimes mauled - before they resume their stellar pitching performances again. It happens to the best of them. Just CAN NOT be avoided.
When??? We can't know this for certain but my stats over many years indicate the time to start to worry is after they reach SEVEN (7) consecutive outings without a BAD one in that bunch (at any point in the season, not just from the start) Sure some HOT streaks may continue for 2 or 3 more performances. It happens! But for me, I don't need the stress that his bubble may burst that day. There's other games to look at. I can simply skip those "STREAKER" dudes until *AFTER* their inevitable BAD outing, then resume looking at his starts!
CAVEAT: even if the starter has a "bad outing" doesn't mean his team loses! His team's bats could come thru with a lot of runs to save the day..... maybe

deGrom pitched well again, allowing only 7 on and just 1 ER over 6 ip,
so his consecutive pitching streak "without a BAD outing" stretches to 9 starts

Martinez hot streak was stopped at 7 consecutive games without pitching a BAD outing, as he tossed just 4.2 innings but allowed 10 on base - a whopping avg 2 on per inning! and 5 ER.
In my personal stat keeping records, I always count 4 ER to mean a "BAD outing"

TWIN'S Paddack pitched very well despite weak run support and his hot streak of 9 consecutive starts "without a BAD outing" now stretched to improbable territory - 10 consecutive. Automatic pass on TWINKIES when he starts next and may look to fade them...
