My capping has the CWS @Cleveland game a virtual coin-flipper, with a thin edge to CWS. Cleveland should have the better starter by a smallish margin but CWS offense the past month are tops in the league vs lefties! Cleveland's bats have been sub-par the past month and over the past 10 games the team has followed a bizarre pattern of:

Lose, Win, Lose, Win, Lose, Win, Lose, Win, Lose, Win, ?today?

Getting good PLUS$$$ in a coin-flipper is usually a "good value" bet but many might prefer to pass on this if they believe MESSICK (lefty) can overcome the #1 batting team vs lefties...

You guys make da call . . .

peace_5 I definitely like the idea of a coin flipper that good value, can hit 50% with those all day long and be totally happy, thanks for pushing me over the edge an_cheers

Nick Martinez (Tampa) was a very good starter...... in April and May.

But starting with June that changed and he's been mediocre since.

The price on them is too high for a mediocre starter. PASS.

So the only LEAN for today which I remembered to post to my King of Covers picks page was ANGELS +120 for modest play only. The score is tied in the 2nd . . .

That LEAN lost, as posted on my King of Covers page ... but guess what...

I actually rose in the rankings from #10 up to #9 an_angel (among 3,472 participants)

Of course I have zero chance of making top 3 but that was never the point. I'm tracking my handicapping/leans at no risk to my BR to see how well it keeps up, even though this is the dreaded 2nd half of the season where historically I almost always fail..."bigly" an_speechless Instead, my selections in September have gone 24 - 8 (75%!) I may still post a few MLB on my King of Covers page but my focus now is football - particularly colleges - where I'm currently in the top 25 out of nearly 2400 participants.
