mlb pricks changed umpires in that washington game. The 1-18 under umpire is going tomorrow, unless they pull him again. Never really see umps getting changed like that before game starts. Maybe they see that 1-18 stat and wanted to fool bettors.

an_light an_eek2 While deGrom's numbers appear on the surface as GOOD overall, they are split between venues. His stats are very mediocre ON THE ROAD and the team has a significant LOSING record in his last 10 ROAD starts (3 - 7) an_getaway

3 of his last 6 starts were BAD outings, all losses, including 3 - 10 at HOME to CWS

It seems ridiculous to consider an UNDER when it's already a LOW number to begin with but that is what my capping is suggesting for the Cleveland/ANGELS game. Two weak offenses facing two VERY GOOD starters and better than avg pens!

My estimate suggests 4.8 to 7.0 total runs is the most likely range and so I am wondering why Vegas doesn't have a line of 6 or 6.5.....

If I was an UNDER bettor (NOT! fingershake ) I might like that under 7.5 that is widely available for a small bet...but personally I PASS and this a bet on my capping for an under is NOT recommended because I LOSE more than win...

cool BTW, in this game, while I DO have Cleveland for an edge to win, but it's thin. It's not a coin-flipper per se but fairly close.... maybe +0.3 edge or so....Cleveland should have around a 53% - 55% chance to win, imho. Those who like "value bets" when it's estimated to be close but one team is getting significant PLUS $$$ (Angels) might consider this...
