Since June 15,  YANKEES have the *WORST* OBP vs righties at just .277

...and since the ASB that bad number dropped significantly further down 

I see lots of Yankee love - -203 too. Yanks have a solid pitcher on the mound and Cards have been struggling offensively. I could see the Yanks winning by a run in this one but the price is high. I bet the RL 

St.Louis averaged a whopping 5.5 rpg  ON THE ROAD  up to ASB.

ROAD SLUMP since the ASB >>>>  just 2.9 rpg 

....although they scored 5 yesterday, which may or may not be the start of climbing back to their previous avg.

Maybe......Maybe not......

Hard to say but it is true that streaks/trends (good or bad) don't carry on forever.  Particular when a previously significant average (either good or bad) suddenly takes off in the other direction with no known influence (injuries! or key bat returns!) being the likely cause.

 Since asb the cards have the worst obs at .586. I agree that trends dont carry on forever but I dont see this game where cards batters can keep up with Schlittler - since ASB he is averaging 0.67 whip and 1.90 era. His numbers are getting better compared to his season stats.

Since Bellinger got injured, the NYY have scored 26 runs the last 8 games (discounting extras)

...but in their last homestand they scored just 18 runs in 6 games.

 During their respective batting slumps since the ASB,

St.Louis Cardinals have  a  .304 OBP  vs righties.

NYY have a MLB WORST .255 OBP  vs righties, and losing Bellinger (lefty bat) doesn't help.
