BURNS has just *IMPLODED* on the mound in the top of the first to grant Cleveland a 4 - 0 lead. In my stats this will go down as another "BAD outing" by an otherwise elite starter......
It happens to the best of them! And more often than many think! 
Several more EXCELLENT starters up this evening....who else will unexpectedly have an off-day like Burns?
And the ELITE starter having an "off" day doesn't necessarily arrive when facing a very good offense. It doesn't matter who he's facing. An "off" day (personally to him) is an "off" day regardless. Just look at WHEELER last night vs the very offensively challenged/slumping MARLINS!

CORRECTING MYSELF......In my stats BURNS will not be recorded with a "BAD" outing because those 4 runs scored by Cleveland in the top of the first were consisted of just ONE earned and 3 UNearned (off LOWE's fielding error!)
In fact, BURNS pitched well! He was only responsible for ONE ER and allowed just 7 on base in 5.0 full innings! 
That's GOOD pitching!
