           This STARTER is riding a tenuous  10-game  HOT STREAK, 

                       WITHOUT a BAD outing in that streak .....YET! 

           ...but this should be anticipated to end at anytime!!!             

Make no mistake, this dude and others I will identify in the future are GOOD starters - some of them exceptional! HOWEVER, probability says "consecutive streaks won't last long" especially AFTER 7 straight w/o a "bad outing"....All GOOD pitchers will, from time to time, have an "off" day and get roughed up - sometimes mauled - before they resume their stellar pitching performances again.    Best to avoid!

CAVEAT: even if the starter has a "bad outing" doesn't guarantee his team will lose! It just seriously weakens their chances! But his team's bats could come thru with a lot of runs to save the day.....well, maybe.   You decide.

P/C  for Padres:  Vazquez  starts but could be short with Seas read for bulk relief.  Mind you if Vasquez pitches very well they may leave him in there. Either way it doesn't alter my PASS on this one.  Marlins have a small edge.

  Hello. I suspect I will, later.  Working on it now. Finished capping the early games then forced to take a nap due to poor sleep last night (neighbor's party)  But important caveat:  this season I have only had 3 marginal winning Saturdays over the last 13 Saturdays   Not sure why, but it is concerning.  

I am PASSING on the Cubs @ PIRATES game.

Skenes still gives me a lot of uncertainty facing a GOOD offense.

So, I grabbed this one when it was tied in the top of the 4th, figuring that if it remains even for another couple innings, Tiggers should have a significant advantage facing a much weaker BP.  Royals have one of the weakest in MLB, though not all of their relievers aare awful so it depends who gets used...

Houston not only won 9 - 5 last night but significantly OUTPLAYED them despite facing a better starter!! PASS!
