rewatching the davis-nog fight.  

Nog stuffed all 5 of Phil's 5 attempts at a takedown in the first round.

Lil Nog's TDD is being underrated.

His TDD was looking awesome in that fight - the first round was close, but I remember the live betting had Nog as a huge favourite after rd 1.

He's been training for wrestlers like 4 fights in a row now, I think he'll stuff Tito..  And Tito's been saying he didn't have the greatest camp etc.  (when does he ever say stuff like that before a fight?)

I was really wanting to go to UFC 137 as well, but timing was not great for me.  I am happy you had a great time!

I was there at UFC 132 where Tito fought his "last" match, so you never know...

Tito doesn't have elite wrestling anymore.  It might only be good now a days with how much slower and how much less explosive he is.

Odd, I have thought Lil Nog's TDD hasn't been half bad...against better wrestlers than what Tito is these days.

In the first round of the Davis fight, Davis did not setup his takedowns effectively with strikes.  Nog saw them from a mile away and shook them off.  He made that adjustment between the first and second rounds, and when for single legs instead of double leg takedowns and was much more effective.

Hard to tell.  Hopefully we can both win some money tonight.  Generally speaking, dogs do not cash at the rate I have it pegged at tonight.  If I can win my Jones - Mir parlay, and break even on the dogs, I will be happy!

Lil Nog's takedown defense is not underrated.  See post #32.

Tito was able to take Rashad down in his last fight in the first round.  Unfortunately for Tito, he could not hold him down for very long.  However, he should not have that problem with Lil Nog.

I would have to re-watch that fight to be sure, but I do not recall Bader attempting that many takedowns in that fight.  Bader seemed happy to stand and bang with Lil Nog.  He was more than holding his own on his feet, from what I remember...

For play #11, bet365 has caught the error.  It is now over 2.5 rounds at -175.  Looks like they are going to honor my bet at the over 1.5 rounds, which is the right thing for them to do...

Thanks bud, I had a good night!  I really thought Claude Patrick was going to take that decision.  How was the reaction around you?

And that was a very nice 6u play on Philippou, he looks like a pure badass but I don't think I've ever bet him. He blasted Hamman's face like his neck was sticking it out there on purpose.
