Well, lets all hope this is the last time we have to see or hear this foul mouth overrated slimeball named McGregor. Broken foot or not, he was still going to get his ass whipped in the next round. Once the fight went to the ground, he had absolutely no chance of winning. He is an example of everything that is wrong with MMA. He is finally exposed as a one horse pony, who can only strike. Goodbye & good riddance McGregor, I hope you never fight again, for the sake of the sport & true MMA fans. But, thanks for making me a lot of money.

yeah you're right. a couple things:
-He supposedly broke his ankle just 20 seconds into the fight. It wasn't a Poirier kick even-it was a McGregor kick. If that's true-he cracked his leg 20 seconds into the fight-it's no wonder he looked like dog meat the entire fight.
-Dana White has promised another shot at Poirier for McGregor, as soon as he's healed up. If you can believe that. Unreal.

so it was never a match.
this is what happens in mma-the unpedicatable sometimes. Nobody would have ever guessed it.
Glad i didn't play it. I had no idea, but I might have picked the over.

I agree there's no reason for a rematch.
But Dana White is protecting McGregor. He knows what he's doing. McGregor did a lot for him..this is payback.
He can't go out like that.
They might rig it for McGregor. I don't know. They'll have to do something. They're not gonna let this golden calf ride off in the sunset, if they can help it. Smart business.

He's not main even material anymore I don't believe. I think McGregor Jake Paul would do terribly. I know I'm not interested in it.
His only shot is at redemption. jmo

agreed and it won't happen until next year, maybe in the Summer who knows. Poirier fights Oliveira
McGregor is in official has-been status.
it won't be the main event. it will be the co-main event, with the main event AFTER the mcgregor-poirier match.
