It's looking less and less for the likelihood of a recession. I've been saying for awhile that the whole subprime thing has been overblown as a whole. Earnings should remain good, P/E's are reasonable and liquidity will remain good and get better with Fed probably loosening even more. It's all there for a continued nice market. In terms of Dow, I think 14,5-14,7 by years end and 16K next year.

Threw caution to the wind and bought some NOEC at $6.25. It is only poetic in an election cycle to go with fertilizer and lots of it. And hell it has the China aura.

I am pretty ticked about that SQNM, I had an order at 6.35 a few days ago and the stock was like 10 cents away, I go and forget about it..that is a great example of paying the market vs setting a limit order.
No problem on QLGC, it is a good company, but the real pisser is RMBS..hit 20 today and it was at 13 or so..oh and JNPR..and HLIT below 8 etc etc etc...

I know nothing about the company. Just looking at the chart it looks like a winner. As for Rio, I believe this stock has a far way to go. Nothing but positive news on the stock. THe bottom line is the Chinese related stocks are rallying big time. If you follow that trend, Rio will be a huge winner. They have a strangle hold on the Iron production. CHina needs Iron and Rio is giving it to them.
The company also produces nickel; copper; platinum-group metals, such as platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, and iridium; precious metals, including gold and silver; coal; and other non-ferrous minerals, such as kaolin, potash, cobalt, sulphuric acid, liquid sulphur dioxide, selenium, and tellurium, as well as engages in bauxite mining, alumina refining, and aluminum metal smelting operations. In addition, it engages in railroad, coastal shipping, and port handling operations; and provides logistic services, including rail transportation for its mining products, general cargo and passengers, bulk terminal storage, and ship loading services for the company's mining operations and for third parties.
Bottom line is this company looks like a winner.

Hoping for another good week for Drys. If it breaks 100 I might sell my calls and do the same. Wait for a pullback. As for Rio, I am in the money and holding for a while.
