On that subject, the lender and builder group have all reveresed since last week and many are near the lows even before the cut.
Anyone think that ENER is making a turn move here? Several times if you had thought they hit a bottom they keep taking it lower..but I am shocked at how this past winner has been cut in half and no news that I saw which deserved the decline..but the trading action has been terrible. Today up..might be worth a stab.

I looked at ENER before but something is not right.
Take a look at FCEL (Fuel Cell Energy). I am convinced this is the best player in that space which will play a part in clean tech going forward. Demand is strong. I think it's a double to $20 within a year.

Go in and take immediate delivery and name your terms. Out here the builders have plenty of spec houses, or contracts that fell through and houses mostly built. I am sure it would depend on subdivision but if you had lending in place and no house to sell I bet you could get a screaming deal.
If I didnt have a house to sell I would find the BEST location and try to buy the smallest in the subdivision and get the best deal I could hammer out..smallest houses is easiest to move and unless you had a zillion kids or needed a ton of room, I will never again buy the biggest in an area (did that this time)
Depeche..yeah I agree with you...there is somthing definately wrong with ENER...I have no clue as to what it is either..

I definately understand the issue, we had the same thing in Philly..wanted specifically this and that, so we didnt end up in the best location because of price per foot.
I hope it works out and maybe a little nudging about investment value might help her conceed a little.
YGE is moving pretty strong Solar followers....

So a diversified pharma/consult company, is what I could gather from the description. So they offer R&D help to pharma and biotechs and they own 1.5 million beds in 47 states for long term care facilities.
I am going to comment on things you already see but these guys are definately a mature company and margins/growth probably will never be huge and the 90s seemed to be when they were growing stronger.
The chart looks like crap, stock cut in half since last year..this 30ish area seems to be longer term support, but if I didnt own I would probably wait to see if the trend is going to reverse. The 20 and 50 day moving averages havent been kind to the stock and I would imagine the 50 day will be resistance until it is broken.
I gather your companies goodies found out some insiders are buying right?
I wouldnt be afraid if nibbling down here...it isnt going to 20 or anything and it could be a nice 15-20% return in the longer haul.
I also imagine you are thinking as the demographic ages these guys are going to have strong demand right?
Looks ok to me....

SQNM ramping up today. I get really good feelings about this company. I know I've seen some posters say ILMN is better, and I like that too, just think the valuation and potential are even greater here. Truly feel this is a 10-bagger in 5 years.

At least it is forming an uptrend. I dont like seeing a 1 for 3 last year, and I think they STILL have too many shares outstanding at 40 plus million.
Margins are not good, they sell at big ratios to sales and book. Good for you that recently they filled the tank on cash (I imagine by selling stock) so dilution wont hit you in the near term.
In order for them to start making money, they will have to increase sales by about 3 times what they currently are. (go to the income statement and equate their gross margin which is about 58%, then find out operating expenses and you will see break even).
So if you think they will triple sales in the next few years then the risk is worth the reward.

WS, have you followed the whole IRobot/Robotic FX Army contract soap opera? Starting to read like a mystery novel. Former IRBT employee seems to have stolen patents and trade secrets to make their product, and cheap. IRBT files suit Aug. 17, then hires a PI who catches the guy trying to dispose of evidence, tossing stuff, caught him red handed erasing his hard drive, which he tried to throw under the mattress or something. He said he panicked LOL. And now claims someone planted evidence. And the Army is stuck in the middle because they awarded a key 280M contract to these jokers. Just unreal.

VERT moving..what a shock. They have done a 1 for 10 reverse a 1 for 6 reverse and a 1 for 8 reverse, have an 8M market cap and 1.6M shares out and a negative book value.
For a good laugh pull up a chart that shows 1999 to 2000 and see what their price was, over 8k (after reverse splits).
I remember the day those guys were KILLING it, now I have no clue why they are listed or in business.

Does anyone besides me find the following an example of something called "conflict of interest" in other arenas?
Shares of virtualization darling VMware (VMW - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr) broke through to a new high Monday after bullish coverage initiations from seven of the company's IPO underwriters.
