I would wait until it has passed its moving averages, it is under every one of them..the 20 and 50 are coming together, if it breaks above with volume you might have a trade..if it fails then a retest is in the cards..

you guys still buying IDMI, holding, selling?  I got a limit order in at 2.85 to get some more.  After this I'm done with Bio for awhile.  You ever check out IPSU?  Looks like a pretty solid company.

wfr is moving up big today. ws do u think there will be a correction in the overall solar sector or just in fslr

You are talking about CCs on that EXBD stock right?

I dont get that..you are seeing a bottom formed, if it breaks through the moving averages then the trade is for the profit not to get hooked into CCs...

Grinder, I am riding it out on IDMI..I cannot say I enjoy the trading action but I am holding at this point.

Yeah I think the correction MIGHT come but FSLR has the ultra high beta and if there was a correction they would and will get hit 3 times more than others..

Damn thats a 3 pt turn on WFR......

cc's on the expd works if u buy the 70 cc's for jan. gives u alot of room to make cash.

So you are going to sell the 70s and wait for 7 months to make less than 5% on the CC?

I dont get that trade one bit.

If it were THIS guy I would buy the stock, keep a leash on it and see if it moves towards the strike and if it moves towards 70 then sell the nearest month that gives a decent return.

Me no likey selling a 7 month CC contract..

no listen stock is at 65.74 u sell the dec 70's at 3.64
in dec when stock is at 70 u collect the whole premium. and u also collect the stock gain of 4 dollars
so u make 7.6 which is over 10 percent.

Oh believe me I understand the concept. I am talking about the net ammt made on the call, which for even 6 months on the december contract makes no sense to me.

If I were wanting to do a CC I would buy BELOW the strike I was interested and buy if I thought the stock would move TO the strike..

Selling when a stock is closest to the strike yields you a much better return, especially on a low beta stock like this.

So I say buy..wait and see if the stock gravitates towards 70 versus selling NOW on the CC

Just got in from lunch, you arent kidding..what a move..maybe the Fed was playing nice? I havent found out yet.

WFR closed strongly, strangely most if not all the stocks I own were down even with this rally..

what you think of this idea... Say you have 400 shares of stock like IGT trading at 39. 
 
Selling 8 july 40 calls for credit of 800 & buying 4 august calls for debit of 600.
 
If stock stays same or goes down thru july exp would be up $200 and have 4 calls for aug
If stock goes above 40 before july exp would be covered by 4 aug calls and 400 shares plus make $200
 
Am I missing anything obvious?

I hope one day soon I will be daytrading, it can't come soon enough for me I tell you.
