How are you on a call list?

And yep..they are definately dicey, but as we both know, the small float dicey stocks can make you some serious cash..not that I want any action today.

If this was just some stupid rumor about a foreign issue (like a bomb or somthing) then they bring the markets back positive...I dont watch stupid CNBC so I am not sure what the rumor is.

FSLR going red.........almost a 4 pt turn here

i dont have a clue but the guy pitched me a stock and said keep an eye on this stock so i look it up and then i see a message that says that people have been getting frequent spam fax messages to buy this stock. obvious pump and dump and i can hear all the other boiler room pitchers in the back ground i was like u got to be kidding me? this guy calling me of all people. rofl it was funny

I take Boiler Room over Wallstreet...sorry to say but I do.

The stuff that went on during wallstreet dont happen today..manual calling in for orders, these hush hush calls to reporters..the stuff Sheen did..

It is a good show, but I get more out of Boiler Room, especially for Covers viewers than wallstreet..

Wallstreet is the better MADE movie, but Boiler Room is more applicable to traders and current markets.

almost all the big sectors has seen some kind of correction while solar has been running the whole time.
a solar correction has to come sooner or later the fact that u think this stock will get to a 100 is sicking to me.

D2,

I would like to get CREE at a lower price personally. I think the LED revolution is a ways off and is still too costly for larger scale usage..meaning retail and home use.

Stock was less than 20 about 40 days ago. Chart looks awesome but for a longer term trade I would want in around the 50 day moving average.

Gunners..yeah watching the show nowdays makes me laugh..all this inside wink wink stuff and some guy riding a moped around following a major player..yeah that would happen.

I think now days people can actually get away with MORE than Sheen did there, but now days the sweet deals are tougher to come by with the media speed we have..no way you could hide great stocks like they did back then and when Buffet made his fame.

I think the LED boom is a ways off as well.  I lucked out when I bought CLRK last summer; I held it and now PHG wants to takeover, so I should pocket a mid-30% gain.

If you're looking for a gamble flyer, check out LCOM (local.com).  Recently approved for a patent on local searching.  Should lead to licensing partnerships and revenue growth.  This is a microcap around $4 and 37 mil market cap.  Probably will either be $0 or $20 in a year.

Wasnt there somthing about N.Korea taking down their reactor?

I was looking at 12.50 calls yesterday, they were going for too much on HOKU..option pricing on the stock is murder...same goes for FSLR which is up as usual today.

D2, you must be in a specific sector or have stocks that arent large caps..I see plenty of red today, especially commodity stocks. Its time to be thinking of going against the commodities boys, many stocks are at or breaking technical levels now.

BlueChip, I have read up on the LED technology and it sounds GREAT but there are so many limitations right now and there just isnt anything cost effective even CLOSE to retail ready.

ws i dont see any resistance in pozn meaning i see it dipping lower at the moment i have 4k shares i think i am gonna dump 3k today because i am not very happy with the move upward today .

i will get back in i just think without  resistance we are gonna see it drop to 15 that would cost me about 8k which is way too much.

i took some profit in exel . still in spec i hope i dont get killed there. sold the pozn. watch it go up 3 dollars tomorrow thats my luck lately
 
also i bought grp just to make some quick cash ended up losing 3k and still going down. buying on a dip can be risky.

You guys havent been around long enough...

We went through this pattern for an ENTIRE SUMMER..back in 2002 this happened every day..open up higher and sell into it for the rest of the day and finish with strong volume at lows of the day.

This kind of action makes me want to sit on the sidelines or go against stocks breaking down.

Notice stocks like AMZN, AAPL, even GOOG etc starting to break down..

We need to start that thread, the breaking technical levels thread and start making some money shorting and buying puts.......
