I had Desert Frontier (in today's 4th at Laurel) working seemingly quickly with another Delacour maiden named Upper Room prior to that one's debut 10-5 at Delaware.
Upper Room went off 8-5, was bet in all the exotics, everything, and did not run a step. Seemed a bit odd but this trainer gets bet hard with all his firsters.
Desert Frontier went off 3-5, got bet 'hard' in all the apparent places, and did not run even a smidgen of a step. His stride was choppy, to say the least. Horse was supposedly a huge Japan yearling sales purchase.
Yikes.
