taking a stab at the 2nd jewel of triple crown, always 2 weeks after the derby ,and it does become a factor for some of the entrants.  this  year 5 of these guys  will run out of the muddy ? track,20 horse derby. #3 hence,#4 always dreaming the derby winner  and heavy chalk, #9 derby runnerup  lookin at lee,#6  gunneverra who gets  money mike today, and the two year old champ  #5  classic empire,the casse runner who has had  physical  and mental problems  but is  extremely talented if he is on..i havent used him in ark or in louisville..     the preakness   race 13 today, should have  ideal weather and track conditions,which wasnt the case in kentucky. here s what im thinking..  ..   #1  multiplier  ,the end of illinois derby was    a big wow if u didnt see it,  but hes in overhead today for the w  anyway..    #2  cloud computing..  one i like for a few reasons, though chad brown hasnt broke through in triple crown yet, hes very good and learned from  shug  and bobby frankel.. had enough points to enter  derby but passed for this. lightly raced for sure  but gets  javier  and has 15 works  at belmont  ..  caton bredar  who is very good and has mentioned how much he has  filled out and how well he looks.. the best is yet to come for this  guy..  will be  seen in ny for sure this summer, hes worth a win bet and ex boxes for sure.# 3  hence, a bit of wise guys  went for him in kty, didnt run at all..  not sure i can believe asmussen totally..  but i saw talent in watching his replays.. if he does run behind the  speed and fires it wouldnt surprize me.  but it would be his last shot for me...#4  always dreaming.. the  derby champ, pletcher and johnny v  who i think are really enjoying  not having baffert around  more than anybody...looks like he could be gone or just sit off someone and  hang on...  but .45 yrs of  gambling  cautions me to use the  favorite line,  races not won on paper,and nothing is for sure..   but hes  deserving and  very  very good..its your call  how hes used in your wagers...#5  classic empire, casse and leparoux  4th in derby which was troubled..  but  im gonna say,he wasnt  beating the winner .  he  is the 2 yr old champ,won 5 of 8  lifetime and  very talented.  but he has a attitude  at times    a throw out for many and a value win bet for others.. im leaning on  the toss...   the rest in a few.  ..

#6 gunneverra, another who may have been troubled in derby, but my genius which is wrong alot thinks sano having a blast and not missing a race, of course smith is great but javy won 3x by 5 lenghts with this guy and he dont want him today? but a 2-6 bx for a buck might be a play.. im against this one..,like mikey said earlier this week in one of his threads, im wrong, you guys unload on him...back the truck up. dump on him.. cant like em all..

#7 term of art.. the californian hope for o neill, has faced some goodies out west, not for me, but battle of midway wasnt either and he did well.cant win, could he?

#8 senior investment, 45/1 is a bargain for across the board and in gimmicks i think.. tryed him in la derby, ran poorly, his win at oaklawn was very impressive but it wasnt stake, his lexington win was just in time. he really has come a long way since last summer at ellis park, then rested til nov.. another who i think his best is coming..

#9 lookin at lee, 2nd in derby, lanerie was superb, daddy won preakness, for me not a win candidate today, hes met classic empire 4x, beat him once. so maybe a 5-9 bx wont hrt your wallet..but underneath in tri and supers i guess...

#10 conquest mo money, the cheap ny bred has done very well 5-3-2-0 but im seeing four races at sunland, ark derby was ok but he had part of lead with malagacy,a pletcher runner who was gasping, this pletcher runner the 4 wasnt at a longer distance. . i will let him beat me.. but i would say that jock stuff is overated, if carreno got horse he can ride.. get him if you like him

my early play for now 2,3,4,8 bx .. just in case 1 box tri 4,5,9 small win bets on 2,8..

GL  today PhilDont have any excuse for Gunn in the Derby .Perhaps his only saving grace could be that he was the 9-5 favorite in the Florida Derby and had that terrible post.Good observations on the race. Cloud Commuting Big fan of Ortiz on that 7.What a whopper that would be.Im hoping Evil Empire stays with Dreamer,fast fractions and they both fade late. Longshot for it to actually happen but never know right?gl today pal
