QUESTION ABOUT A TRIFECTA BET

I saw this in a different message board.  Is this a wheel bet?  Also, how much would that entire bet cost?  Obviously, he nailed it (if he indeed bet it).  I asked on that board but there has been no response.  Sorry if this is a silly question, I'm new to the game. Just trying to figure out what kind of bet that is, and how much it would cost.  I assume more than $5.

U won $20,000 plus..... Need a signer?  There was $58,128,712 bet on WPS.......

That $5 trifecta bet would cost $60

StevieKick,If I understand your question when you say Singled you wanted (in this case #5) Always Dreaming only to win ..and the other selections 2nd or 3rd.

It is not a full wheel ..it is a partial wheel.

A key bet is a partial wheel as you are not betting all the horses.

I would tell the teller to key the 5 on top of the 1,8,11,14,17 with 1,8,11,14,17.

$1 Tri would be $20 but if its $5 it would be $100.
