Ice Box 3-1 ?

Who makes these ML's ? More like 8-5.

The always inflate the odds on the Morning Line so they don't discourage action on a horse like Ice Box.


At least that's what I read in a handicapping book.  


The Morning line is always a 120% -  125%   line.      As opposed to a 100% line which would be true odds.

My guess is Ice Box goes off in the 5/2 (6.40-6.80) range.

He hasn't done enough to take big big money (I am discounting every horse from the mud stained derby in terms of letting their performance dicate the next start).

Which is also why he won't be getting my money.

Certainly not a lock by any means,though a deserving favorite, he could be second best in his own barn

i am confident ice box comes in 3rd at best and i think first dude misses the board entirely....i see this being big payouts

You  might be right.  However, if he's 5/2 or higher on the tote, I advise you to save your money.

Well, you wont have to worry about that scenario. Ice Box will be a heavy FAV.  Hopefully, its at least even money. Nothing worse than betting a 3-5 fav.

 

Ice Box should have won the Kentucky derby...Did you not see the shitty ride and trouble the jockey got the horse into...

Ice Box should be sitting in the middle of the pack(maybe 5-6 lengths back) in this race on a very slow pace. Horses that are 10-15 lengths back wont get there for the win, I would say.

Those odds don't reflect what the double wilpays are with the Brooklyn from yesterday.  He was right around 5/2 in that pool.  IMO you are looking at a price between 8/5 and 5/2.
