Dumb Question about Trifecta/Superfecta

Does the amount of the winning ticket on this change depending on the odds of the horse or is it the exact same no matter what the odds are?

yes it's odds dependent

In other words a 1 dollar superfecta would pay out more if one of the long odds horses won it and probably even more if another long odds horse places correct?

Assuming a 10 dollar bet

Impossible to say.

Thank you all.

It's a true parimutuel pool and payouts in the superfecta pool are totally tied to the bets solely in the superfecta pool. However, it is extremely likely that the payoffs will be higher with the longer shots on top.
