Keen Ice will miss the BC Classic after suffering a minor injury & he will be retired since this was going to be the last race of his career. He averaged 141k per start with his biggest victory coming when he beat American Pharoah. Originally trained by Dale Romans, he ended, up as many do, with Pletcher,
Now he gets to enjoy the rest of his life as a stallion. What a life.

Jorge Navarro, trainer for Sharp Azteca & War Story, was fined again when one of his winners at Monmouth tested positive for cocaine. During the last meet he won at a 41% rate & 71% ITM.
Zayat's racing manager, Justin Zayat wants Navarro banned from the support because he's a repeat cheater.

Way ahead of handicapping but here are some of the horses I think have a good chance to win:
Bolt D'Oro: Undefeated in his 3 career starts. Will be short priced for sure.
Lady Eli: Has 5 G1 Victories and is the best female on the turf (sorry Tepin) but should race wire to wire
Collected: Has him as the winner of the TVG Pacific Classic beating Arrogate. Arrogate is the best horse in the world according to everyone else but not in this race. Collected wins.

Never heard of this but.....Jaime Theriot was suspended 15 days because he switched saddles. He weighed in with one saddle but weighed out with another saddle which was 2 lbs heavier. He finished 3rd in that race.
Baffert has 4 entered in the Classic in an attempt to beat Gun Runner. He has Arrogate, Collected, West Coast & Mubtaahij.
