AJ Styles can't defeat Chris Jericho, mr Y2J[from year 2000, 16 years ago, when he was already over 10 years in]

CHRIS JERICHO IS 64 YRS OLD.

AJ STYLES LOST TO HIM.

Then he's given a no1 contenders match?

Then they actually let him win?

Are WWE writers on heavy drugs?

Everyone said "shane cant lose to taker, because what would that make Brocks victory look like"

But Styles can lose to 63 yr old Jericho one night, then the next night become no1 contender?

Sorry Im not buying that.

That loss to Jericho made styles look like a bitc*

You wanna give him a no1 contender match?

At least show that he is able to beat Jericho

in the grandest stage of them all.

Although that wouldn't even help my opinion of Styles, because Jericho is a nobody now. But wtf, losing to Jericho is just comical, followed by a shot at Romans title.

WWE writers messed this one up big big big big timeeeee.

Very unrealistic, very poorly thought of.

AGREED SPARKY, RUSEV sold that stunner very well.

RUSEV is not very athletic, he's very big. And I didnt know how much he respected Austin to sell it like that.

Rock loveddddddddddddd Austin, great great buddies, used to drink beers after events together. So he sold it like a boss to his buddy.

Rusev surprisingly sold that very very well.

Kudos.

Corbin to me looks like a fake Ministry of Darkness member that didn't make the cut.

Sosa,

AJ has 2 wins against Jericho. Does it matter that he lost the night before? Jericho lost to Fandango at WM so, by your logic, Jericho shouldn't even be wrestling anymore. Not to mention he pinned Jericho to win the match (essentially making it 3-2 in favor of AJ over Jericho). AJ is such a great talent and has obviously gotten over with fans faster than WWE ever could have imagined. I don't understand giving him the push over Ambrose, though. If you're going to do face on face then you might as well go Ambrose unless you're saving him for a full on Roman heel turn (Ambrose is supposed to feud with Jericho next). Personally, I think AJ deserves it. You could turn him into a 6 move guys like Cena and I'd be fine with it because those 6 moves are incredible.

I also can't see how you can't like the others in the main event. Kevin Owens deserves it based on trash talking ability alone let alone his in ring ability is great. They're just not pushing him yet because they have an unfinished story with Zayn which I find awesome because they really make it seem like their history is real as they go at it at the sight of each other. And Cesaro has always been deserving but they've always kept him down and now that he's healthy again, he can get back into the swing of things (no pun intended...ok, maybe a little one).

As for Corbin, I don't watch much of NXT but I've seen the Takeover events and seeing the video montages before his matches I definitely think he can be a great heel. I see what you're saying based off his look but the difference between him and the Ministry is that he does everything on his own (obviously). He's a ruthless and dirty character which may be a good sign that they may continue to push passed the PG bar a bit (Devon also said b*tch a few times during the Enzo segment).

I can't wait to see more of Enzo and Cass and I hope those promos become a regularity on Raw and the crowds get into it as much as the post-WM European crowd did.

Hey Sparky, I am a big wrestling fan and understand the business very well. A lot of what is going to happen is very obvious. Also I understand that just because someone loses to someone doesn't mean a ton. Also the heel/face , also that Styles is a veteran that's been around.

I just don't get it though. One day your facing Jericho in a very unappealing match and losing. The next your the number one contender for the heavyweight title? I just don't get it.

Also I'm probably sure that after Jericho lost to Fandango at WrestleMania, he didn't become no1 contender for WWE championship the next night.

Big fan of Owens.

Big fan of Zayn. He's VERY ATHLETIC, love em in the ring.

I've never seen Cesaro.

I've never watched NXT.

I never heard of Corbin prior to battle royal.

But then again, Ive never seen Enzo and Big Cass, and those guys are great. Also never heard of Crews and he was awesome.

SO I don't think being out the loop is the reason I don't like some of these guys.

I'm familiar with AJ Styles tho lol :::Shrugs::::

Also I wasn't stating those 6 guys should be the next champion.

Most are old and played out.

Just saying those guys are some of the headliners last couple years.

Where does AJ Styles fit in here?

I agree with you sosa. It is mindboggling. The writers try to force too many things, purposely ignoring anything that develops organically. But they should depend on organic stuff cause their feuds and characters are so weak, its harder and harder to care.

"reminisces about Raven's feuds in ECW with Tommy Dreamer and the Sandman with Beulah thrown in there" Those were great feuds that lasted many months, not just until the next PPV.

Enzo and Cass. Wow, as goofy as they are, this team is endearing.

Get the titles on them ASAP and just leave them there.

I agree with Sosa here Spark. Having AJ job to Jericho at WM? And then having him as the #1 contender the following night? Huh? It's similar to your complaint about Shane running Raw after losing that exact stipulation to Taker!

Anyone know of a good wrestling commentary podcast (not the Stone Cold pod but more about the analysis of WM and Raw)?

Chyna was the first legit woman who you believed could kick a male wrestler's as*. For that alone, she should be inducted into the HOF.

If anyone remembers, the first time Austin stunned her at MSG, the crowd went absolutely bonkers. She generated true crowd heat, and for a female "wreslter" that was unprecedented.
