Obama did not start these wars, nor did he do the mortgage investment meltdown, and all the tax breaks for those rich oil companies, the collapse of our auto-industry, etc.  Can we say Reagonomics!!!

Obama caught bookoo flack for supporting Detroit in auto talks/bailout.

If anything NEAR that happened in Asia, they would be handed money within hours by the government.

Didn't Clinton loan money to Chrysler to keep them alive?  I think they paid it off and Clinton even got a hard return on that investment.

Think it's getting better but the fundamentals are still shaky.  It's too easy now to outsource.

The businesses that ARE growing are outsourcing.

We can't compete in labor.................. About to go underwater in technology.  Farmers have been toast without government subsidies for decades.

USA have many problems, but if i had to go with one issue that brought this fine nation to its knees it has to be Reganomics.

Now a lot of conservatives might want to blame be, but his shift in economic policy also lead to a massive shift in who have earned most of the wealth accumulated since the 80 ties.

Basicly the top 1-3 % are taking a majority of all new wealth created.

It got better during Bill Clinton but now have regressed massively during the last decade.

Investors are cautious right now.  And a good chunk of those are overseas.

And the Alabama people wanna throw a hot head in office?

At least Obama is calm and polite to other cultures.

Thinking Reaganomics brainwashed the voters but the real financial damage was NAFTA which was mostly Clinton. Good intentions but a major foobar....... opened up the door to globalization.

Thinking the Reaganomics Voodoo Trickle Down was just an "internal" issue regarding taxes but shouldn't affect the gross GDP as a whole.  Fuck taxes, the GDP is the concern.

Just losing global market share......... got equipment operators here driving Takeuchis and Kubotas.

Those companies got market share to begin with from their government subsidies.......... R&D kicked in later and the products evolved but FOR SURE the government is behind them.

The attitude here is........... "I can get a better deal on a Takeuchi so it would be unAmerican if I didn't take the better deal right?"

GWB laid the groundwork for much of the above.As for leadership Obama could walk across the Potomac you would be here tomorrow saying he was to lazy to swim. The average folk in Bama are paying a lower tax rate (all things being equal) than what they were 30-40 years ago.

They think differently than we do............ their goal is market share.  Whatever price point it takes.  Cuz they think more long term.  If they have to take a loss for ten years, so be it.  But their goal is market share.
