First offère numbers were embarrassingly off base, and secondly the conversation about the massive inequity in the American criminal justice system from the lowest level policeman to thee highest justice (which again posters like him and his ilk think is an 'excuse' and that too is embarrassing on their part, even more so) needs to be had along with those statistics.
