Reverse Late line movement

yes am looking to fade a big line move on the dog basically and go with the favorite. It has to meet a couple of factors for me to play the game thou.
As far as disagreeing with me on it being a fake line move, that is your opinion and you are entitled to it. There are God knows how many people around the world who sit in front of their computers all day watching lines moves and making their bets based off of those moves. When you study this stuff long enough you can see patterns that the books like to use on certain games.
Now i have no reason at all to lie about what am saying, because am not trying to impress anybody here, because if i was i would be saying am betting 10k a game, i live in a 5 million dollar home, drive luxury cars and bang super models all day but i dont. All i tried to do is share something that i happened to learn from years of betting thats all.  No differnt then any of the guys posting systems in  the strategy forums.  Like i said in a post way back in this thread, am sure people laughed and doubted billy walters when he said he was gonna bet games based on what a computer told him to bet.
Honestly i wish that i never mentioned anything about this, because its not been worth the trouble dealing with all the haters on this site.  I always thought other bettors would want every single type of info they could get their hands on, if it takes the books money. Not on this site, guys would rather hate then actually see if it actually does win money.
Trust me i wont make that mistake again on this site.  I visit way to many gambling sites on the net, where people actually care about winning cash and dont give a rats ass on hows it done.

Trends are a complete joke, especially the one scal is talking about.
This is why sportsbooks send you trend magazines every year. They certainly dont do that to help you win their money. They hope you open them up and bet according to the trends.

yup am only concerned with big moves near gametime.  lines go up and down all week,theres no way to know whos moving the lines or why.

So tomorrow you have 5 games that are screaming at you with line moves, right?

scally, i hate to have to be the one to explain this to you, but i guess somebody does your trend about dogs being 7-2 ats when theya re getting 20 + points is entirely differnt then what a qbs passing stats per game is and if you dont understand the difference between a stat and a trend, you really should quit gambling tonight.
Just because a qb throws for 150 yards a game in his last 4 games, that has no bearing on his next game.

I also didnt say the qbs stats mean anything either, because if you knew how to read you would have understood what i meant when i said just because a qb averages 150 yards a game his last 4 games, that doesnt mean he will pass for a 150 yards a game in his fifth game you total jackass. That stat is another useless stat, that means nothing to the out come of the 5th game. You have to cap each game as they come and not worry about what happened in the games before.  You really are braindead.

I've done well at the start of this CBB season so far, not that I struggle in college hoops (usually my bread winner) but I've actually found it a bit ironic the 1st few wk's of College hoops gambling that lines I see as openers that get steamed up 2 points and I personally contradict and bet opposite have probably been my strongest winners.

So what I'm saying is totals/sides that move up 2 points in a day's betting period, yet when I study the game, the lines have fallen on my side/total rather than the steam changing it, I find myself contradicting the move and betting for MYSELF a lot lately (I'm confident I can gauge a line rather than have a book point me in the "correct" decision). I know that's foreign to the new age gambler who just follows the steam and assumes the public is always a knowledgable betting public, but maybe cuz I'm experienced, I feel confident about my reads.

Not trying to brag, not my game, but any novice gambler should know that they gotta trust their own opinions and lines. College hoops are tricky since pace and fouls can fuck all of us up at points, but in the long-run playing your comfortable picks is better than trying to read what a book is persuading to you IMO...

My thought, if betting for or against line moves YOU PROBABLY WILL GET MIDDLED. Bet what you like and not what others are doing

I just think an actual example would be SO helpful.

To me and this is to me, trends are a tricky deal.
I personally think the 7-2 trend in this case has validity. It speaks to such an oddity in the NFL and plays to a teams feelings and personality.
If you are in the Colts locker room and someone tells you, "hey, you guys suck so fucking bad the Patriots will wash the floors with you by 21" I think the Colts may find that as a motivator.
If you are in the Patriots locker room and someone says "hey you guys are so awesome, you will kill these hapless a-holes by three TD's" I think you may polish your Bentley one extra time and take the week off.
This line is so unusual it does offer comparisons to me from a mood perspective from previous times the line was this big. I think it speaks to human nature, more so than the Colts-Pats.
