Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever, Amen.----Matthew 6:9:13

    The Book of 2 Corinthians

The author was Paul, written around A.D. 57

Following Christ is a constant struggle. The church of Corinth knew this all too well. Although the believers there were being renewed by the Holy Spirit, they still struggled against the immoral influences of the culture around them. Through personal visits and letters, Paul instructed the Corinthian believers in the faith and addressed several problems there. Most denied his authority over them. So he wrote this letter to defend his authority and denounce those who were twisting the truth. Paul's critics had attacked his motives, saying that he did not care for the Corinthians and used them only for his own gain. So Paul pointed to evidence that showed how he had always been straightforward with the Corinthians and had worked tirelessly for their good. He also defended himself against charges of incompetence by comparing himself to the false teachers. Paul encouraged the Corinthians to continue following his example---to be holy, generous, and true to Christ.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

Like ghostly spectres, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse appeared to the apostle John in vision at the close of the first century A.D. What do these four horsemen really represent? Were they merely a vivid nightmare of the elderly John's imagination? Or are they a living prophecy soon to unfold in our generation? Here is how Jesus Christ himself revealed the true meaning---for our day, right now---of the four mysterious riders of the book of Revelation!

Part 15 of 17 BUT THERE IS A WAY OF ESCAPE

Hundreds of thousands were caught unprepared in Hiroshima and Nagasaki when two atomic bombs plummeted out of the sky and cremated the two Japanese cities on August 6 and 9, 1945. Days previously, the U.S. Government had warned the Imperial Japanese government that the bombs were to fall, but the message was garbled in the translation. Had any heeded the warning, they could have escaped---but no one could foresee what happened from the warnings given. Can we, today, learn from their ghastly experience?

Millions of person and other nationalities perished under Hitler's rule. Many could have read the signs of the times and escaped, but they didn't.

Likewise, the majority of people will be caught by surprise when the four horsemen ride over this earth for the last time. They could escape if their eyes were opened to the Bible and world trends, but their eyes are closed---willingly or in ignorance.

Millions will see the signposts of religious deception, war, famine, and pestilence, but will not know where to turn for escape. Bomb shelters? A hideout in the mountains or desert? A church? Stored up food? Refuge in South America, Switzerland, or the South Seas?

No, in the age of nuclear war, human hideaways offer no hope for permanent escape. The only escape from the grisly realities on earth is recourse to the greatest reality in the universe---GOD!

    The Book of Galatians

The author was Paul, written around A.D. 49, from Antioch, prior to the Jerusalem council (A.D. 50)

Who, after being set free, would ever willingly submit themselves to slavery once again? This was Paul's question to the Galatians, who were giving up their freedom in Christ to serve the law once again. It was clear to the early church that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ achieved salvation for all who believed, but how would the law of Moses now relate to them? Should Christians continue observing the law or not? The Galatian church was divided over this question. Paul wrote this letter to the Galatians to settle this dispute. He opened his letter with a very short introduction and then cut right to the heart of the matter: If believers are justified by grace through Christ, why were many Galatians insisting upon other requirements? Paul showed how Abraham, who had lived more than four hundred years prior to the giving of the law, was justified by his faith, not his deeds. Likewise, the Galatians should see themselves as free from the law---free, that is, to serve Christ and be transformed by the Holy Spirit.

Part 16 of 17 For the Elect's Sake

Jesus Christ promised protection to his own elect. He promised they would survive the prophesied holocaust to strike this unsuspecting world. That is the only hope for survival---the intervention of God.

Fortunately for mankind, God is not only going to save these "elect," but millions of others will be protected "for the elect's sake." God will stop the death stroke of the fourth horseman before it sweeps all mankind from off the earth. For the elect's sake, some of mankind will survive into the Wonderful World Tomorrow.

To the elect, Christ said, "FEAR NOT, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom" (Luke 12:32). He also promised that this "elect" wold always be on earth. The end-time remnant of that group would have special strength to preach Christ's Gospel to all the world for a witness (Matt. 24:14).

You need to find out where that WORK is being carried on! Why? Because it is is only those having a part in the Work who have any guarantee of safety. Others may survive after years of ordeal and pain, but the path of the "elect" is safe and sure.

The elect are those who are the called and chosen, who have truly repented of their own carnal ways, and have accepted the holy ways of God. They are the ones who have been made members of the very BODY of Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 12:13) performing his Work.

As a reward for this faithfulness, Jesus gave this exhilarating good news to those faithful ones who put the Work of God far above their own personal desires.

The entire twelfth chapter in the Apocalypse or book of Revelation is devoted to God's loving care for his end-time Church, the elect. The Church is personified as a woman, Christ's betrothed wife. "And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent" (verse 14).

This end-time prophecy tells of an "escape" from terrible war and tribulation signified byl the four horsemen and the events that follow in their wake. For 3 1/2 years the elect will be untouched by Satan (the serpent) and the cataclysmic world at war around them. God promises miraculous, supernatural, spiritual and physical shelter!

Good mornin' everybody!...My Christian brothers & sisters, the irresolutors & the heathens!, how is everyone today on this beautiful, humid & hot Thursday, the 4th day of August?...I'm fine myself thankyou!

Let me start today with the Lord's prayer. For you irresolutors & heathens, feel free to join in. Ok let's bow our heads and pray.

    The Book of Ephesians

The author was Paul, written around A.D. 61, during Paul's imprisonment in Rome

Every once in a while, God grants his people a rare glimpse of their place in the grand scheme of history---a brief moment when they can assess who they are, where they have come from, and where they are going. Paul's letter to the Ephesians provides the church with just such a vision of itself. This letter, which was possibly intended to be circulated among several churches, was written while Paul was a prisoner in Rome. Paul began his lofty message with an overview of God's work in eternity past, where God worked out his plans for the world. Paul then moved to the present, where God is saving and transforming those who believe in Christ. Paul concluded this section with a vision of the future, where all evil will be overcome. He pointed out that in the present, however, we will continue to have conflicts, because our battle is with the forces of evil. Paul ended the letter with directives for some practical matters of the Christian life, such as vision of itself, toward which it can continually grow.

Were they merely a vivid nightmare of the elderly John's imagination? Or are they a living prophecy soon to unfold in our generation? Here is how Jesus Christ himself revealed the true meaning---for our day, right now---of the four mysterious riders of the book of Revelation!

Part 17 of 17 Who Are the "Elect"?

The elect are the end-time remnant of the Church of God and Work of God on earth. By God's definition, this "remnant of her seed...keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ" (Rev. 12:17). "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus" (Rev. 14:12).

The elect obey God's Ten Commandments! They obey God's will in everything, and they have the love and faith of Christ. Don't make the mistake of following the false counterfeit Christianity which may masquerade as God's "elect" but refuse to obey God's Ten Commandments and believe the true gospel of the kingdom of God.

There is a way of life that is pleasing to God and that will protect you from the very real plagues destined to be unleashed in the final ride of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse!

For those who choose to disobey God, these horsemen will not ride just in vision, but in reality.

    But you can choose life!

As human beings we have the ability to reason. Belief without reason puts us no higher than animals without reason or rationale. So no, it is not that simple.

You haven't been converted over yet? Such held-fast stubborness! Just remember when you're on your dying bed it will be much to late for you to cry out to God!

And when you cross over you will be shocked to see the truth!!

I will second that What kind of sick fuck "creates" something and gives it free will and reason which draws that person away from it, then punishes it because it uses that free will and reason.  What a joke....

By the way, I love how these so called believers (rostos, drake, onlygod) talk the talk but don't walk the walk If your belief is true you're all just as fucked as us...by the way hope you chose the correct "god"

I like how Rostos is willing to go so far back as to the beginning of the big bang and say god must've sparked it. Okay. Fine. Even if we accept that, he has no evidence whatsoever that it is HIS GOD. It can be ANYONE OR ANYTHING. We don't know and probably never will. That's the main reason believing in god is stupid. The odds of you being right are about as high as hitting the jackpot on a slot machine in Vegas...and you don't even know if it's even possible for you to hit.

There is only 1 my friend.

Why should anyone trust in Christianity over Islam, Buddhism, Mormonism, or anything else?  It is because there are absolute truths.  Only in Christianity are there accurately fulfilled prophecies of a coming Messiah.  Only in Christianity do we have the extremely accurate transmission of the eyewitness documents (gospels), so we can trust what was originally written.  Only in Christianity do we have the person of Christ who claimed to be God, performed many miracles to prove His claim of divinity, who died and rose from the dead, and who said that He alone was the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).  All this adds to the legitimacy and credibility of Christianity above all other religions -- all based on the person of Jesus.  It could not be that Jesus is the only Truth, and other religions also be the truth.

Either Jesus is true and all other religions are false, or other religions are true and Jesus is false.  There are no other options.  I choose to follow the risen Lord Jesus.

Dr. Simon Greenleaf (Harvard University - one of the greatest professors of Law in U.S. history) once said: "According to the laws of legal evidence used in courts of law, there is more evidence for the historical fact of the resurrection of Jesus Christ than for just about any other event in history."

Speculation. Speculation. Speculation. There are eyewitness testimonies to UFO appearances, alien abductions, ghosts, dead grandparents... you name it, there's someone who claims to have seen it. Christianity is no more viable than any other religion because all the things you said are FALSE.

There are always more options.  This statement is absolutely absurd.  You sir, are a christian fundamentalist, and values like the one you expressed above are what is holding HUMANITY back from true love and compassion.

Black and White doesn't work when speaking of unprovable forces.

Funny how when these UFO sightings occur that it is only witnessed by 1-2 people and they normally occur in remote rural areas in the middle of the night without anyone around........

So if the Yankees played the Red Sox, the following statement is false?

Either the Yankees won and the Red Sox lost or the Red Sox won and the Yankees lost?

based on your logic, my above statement is false.......

No you can prove whether the Yankees or Red Sox won. You can't prove anything about your imaginary fairy.
