I took acid about 5 times 20 years ago in high school,some of the best times in my life,fucking intense shit,your'e ripped for 10 hours and their is no escape,once you put that paper in your mouth your commited whether you like it or not,people have killed themselves off bad trips because their is no escape,it's not something you can just sleep off,not for the weak of mind.

i would be terrified of having a bad trip on lsd. MDMA...never a bad trip.

Mushrooms are much more prone to bad trips than acid.

But that doesn't mean you shouldn't do mushrooms!

Bad Trips... more like getting kicked in the balls really hard by reality.

I don't follow?

Nobody freaks out while tripping because they get 'kicked in the balls by reality'. More like breathing ceilings and chairs with very strong stances against your bad habit. I hate when chairs give me the stare.

I haven't tripped in a long time, but I'm thinking that next time I do I will watch the wizard of oz... I'd imagine that's quite a trip... anyone ever done this?. Although every time I try to watch something while tripping I can't... need to go exploring. I usually don't make it out of the back yard but its still an adventure.

Hmm... different strokes for different folks. My friends and I always took psychedelics more-so for the mind trip rather than the "spooky" visuals. If you just sit in a room staring at shit, then yes, I probably would have one of these so called bad trips. In reality, any trip where you devout all your time to just the visuals is a waste of their potential ,in my opinion. All depends on what your seeking out of them I guess.

I hear ya CMo. I don't think many psychadelic enthusiasts have bad trips unless they decide to take a huge dose... more the new guys who think they are going to get high like its weed or something. Although one time I got caught in a loop for what felt like hours and eventually I started to freak out a little bit because I realized what was happening but I couldn't stop it. I was tripping too hard, so I would lay down. Look at my wall, the sponge pattern of the paint was waaay too much for me, so I would turn on the tv. Couldn't take the tv either because I swore I had seen it all already (I think it was sportscenter reruns)... so I would think 'maybe I should eat something', and I would go get a piece of bread or a bagel... the texture of the bread was fucking crazy looking, I swore there was mold on it or something, so I couldn't eat it. Sometimes I would take a bite and it was like taking a bite of shit, I knew there was something very wrong with the bread so I couldn't bring myself to chew it.... so I would decide to go try laying down.... then the wall was too much for me to look at... so I would turn on the tv... then I would try to eat something... then I would lay down... you get the picture.

If I wasn't at work, I could probably go on a rant for hours when I lost my psychedelic virginity and thought I would never recover any of my marbles. Maybe when I get off I will bump this thread and share my story. Good vibes man

mushroom don't make me trip. i just sit there lost in my own prison of thoughts. it fucking sucks sitting their being mind fucked by my own twisted mind. i sat on the couch for 6 hours and couldn't move cause i was paralyzed by my own brain.

MDMA is epic, i wish i could constantly be on MDMA. good times, except when you try to get a boner, good luck with that!

Shrooms made my foot melt into the floor while taking a piss.. lol I could NOT stop thinking. It was like I had A.D.D.. Intense!

Are they Bad? No. Overrated though. Booze works for me. I have much more fun with whisky.

Always take psychadelic drugs in the company of experienced users. It's better for everyone that way.

I used LSD a lot had to stop and just to weed now but it was the best times I had when I was on LSD.. never had a bad trip with it.. never ated more than1 at a time..

The best one I had was on the beach... I was tripping so good with some beers laying in a chair.. sand never felt so good.. the only bad thing that happened was when I tried to hook up with some chicks.. hahaha lame..

Does acid even exist anymore? After they shut down that missle silo in Kansas it has dried up. Used to get vials for 150 bucks. Saw it about 3 years ago and the guy wanted 20 bucks a hit.

Best trip ever was some purple pyramid. Camped out on a mountain top, in the landing path of an international airport. Had a fire burning, and watched jets approaching all night long.

Waited like seemed forever for the sun to come up. Got in the car and drove the opposite direction of the rush hour traffic. Laughing our asses off at all these pissed off people in bumper-to-bumper traffic going into the city to work.

Ahhhh, those were the days. Young and dumb, and no worries.
