It appears I'm in the minority here, but you need to go. Your brother is old enough to make his own decisions and when he gets the stars out of his eyes, he'll, hopefully, see the err of his ways. Until then, you have to go there for HIM - not for any other reason.

To not go would be a radical act of low-class. You can't force your parents to go, but the time may come when you want to marry and should you select someone your parents disapprove of, your brother would be there for you.

Be the bigger person and do it for him.
