Not according to your wonderful TSA. According to them the situation was handled exactly according to their procedure while 1984 worshipping citizens like you jerk off to the thought of a dying 95 year old woman and her crying daughter being harassed by government thugs.

Maybe they could have handled this situation differently yes, but if they were not 100% certain this woman did not have a bomb in her diaper then they should have done whatever needed to be done until they were 100% sure before they let her on the plane. It's that simple. These people have a job to do and it's to make sure no one boards an airplane carrying an incendiary device. What would happen if they let her on the plane and she did have a bomb? What is you knew someone who died because of it?

Just because I don’t get a tingly feeling up my leg when I hear about a dying 95 year old woman being harassed and humiliated by government thugs doesn’t mean I get upset about everything.

So what if they “needed” to give the dying 95 year old woman a full body cavity search before they “were 100% sure” she didn’t have a bomb in her diaper? You would be ok with that?

The Terrorists have acomplished their goal by scaring the crap outta the US government. There will be no more plane bombings, there are too many safety nets and strip shearching everyone now is insanity. The problem is 18-30 year old males, not purple haired old ladies. Heaven forbid they profile, they might UPSET a muslim.

What would happen if they let her on the plane and she did have a bomb? What if you knew someone who died because of it?

What if a passenger had an explosive hidden up their asshole and everyone (from new born babies to dying 95 year olds) getting full body cavity searches could have prevented it?

So I guess that means you are onboard for the full body cavity searches when the TSA tells us they “need to be done.”

1700's......2011.  Figure it out.  He never had to worry about someone flying a plane into the nation's capital.....in fact, he never had to worry about a plane. 

And I have had a prostrate check by my doc for the last plenty of years.  If some TSA person wants to look at my butthole to ensure the safety of the rest, I could give a shit. Literally. 

And FYI, I flew home from KC a few weeks ago and ended up getting the 5th degree from a TSA person.  He said, "this is the part of my job I hate, but I think it saves lives so I do it." 

I told him I appreciated his situation and let him do what he had to do.  Big FN deal.  He could have grabbed my cock for all I care if he could guarantee that there wouldn't be a bomb on my flight. 

I thought the scanning machines were a good idea (provided they figure out how to make it radiation-safe).  Just walk through and they can tell if you have anything on you.  then be done with it.  no taking your shoes off, no frisking.  but then people were worried about people seeing their blurry space-aged penis image

I got chosen for "special random screening" last time I flew.  I said, "ok, sure".  they took me to that little windowed area, swabbed my hand with something, put it in a machine, said "thank you" and i was done.  HOLY FUCK, IT WAS TERRIBLE!  I WAS VIOLATED!

honestly, i'm not comparing this to what happened to the old woman.  but if everyone would just relax a little, it really isn't typically that bad.  i don't agree with what happened to the woman, but to say that the TSA is 100% like big brother and we're all losing our freedom is a little over the top.  and the TSA isn't to blame, it's those fucking terrorists, anyway. 

By that logic one could claim that the 1st amendment is irrelevant because the founding fathers never had to worry about the internet.

One of the main reasons this country, despite being relatively new, is one of the two most powerful (and up until a short while ago: most free) countries on earth is because it was founded by some of the most brilliant minds in recorded history.
