I'm a racist salesmen...

I wouldn't really consider you a 'salesperson'.  You are more of a ticket writer who asks customers if they would like wax with it.  Just like if the guy at 'Jack in the Box' asks you if you want dessert with your meal.  That doesn't make him a real salesman.  More like a parakeet that keeps repeating the same thing hoping someone will say yes.

     In my previous sales business, I didn't really like whites because they required to much explaining and selling to so in the end they cost alot to acquire especially when they walked away from the sale.  Yes, they are easier to sell to since they are more easily convinced but that would mean more explaining and convincing.   Asians were not big spenders but they were pretty easy to sell to since they are price focused and not as educated on what we sold- as long as they got a discount they were happy.  Middle Easterns/Indians you don't want to discount because you are basically saying 'hey, I tried to make more money off you but since you won't budge I will discount' so they consider you dishonest and that green lights them to grind you which they are pros at.  I used to go in firm with Middle Easterns/Indians with a this is my best price, take it or leave it- some would take it and respect that I wasn't playing games and others would leave.  

   With all that said, your car wash ticket writing gig is not a sales job so you can't really use any of the advice.

the fact of the matter is that anything that starts with the word racist, is that in itself a racist especially when it's coming out of their own mouth/handle.  Although used as an adjective in the many cases i have exemplified up above, to me you can add any subject you want to the adjective we have in question, but the fact of the matter is that big ron had big balls to flat out call himself a racist.  I don't care if he's a salesman, a covers member, a football commentator, a chef, a homophobe or whatever other subject you want to use, the fact of the matter is that he flat out stated it.  

Let me tell you something williamwallace.  I absolutely despise of racists.  Hopefully big_ron really isn't a racist and that he's just not mature enough to realize what he used in the subject line.  Like i said, i empathized with him when it comes to certain ethnic backgrounds that waste your time in the sales field.  If i'm his co-worker at the car wash and the asian folks are wasting my time, i'm not going to bother with them much.  It would be part of my job to try and upsell asians just as much as any other person, if an asian comes in and i don't try and upsell them, does that mean i am a racist?  no it does not.  But some people might complain that i'm being a racist by treating them differently.  That's too bad if racism comes to mind if i'm doing this with my customers, but i'm not going to waste time with someone who's not going to be paying my bills while missing out on other chances.

It's like this williamwallace.  Barack Obama is assassinated tonight during the cardinals/dodgers game in the 5th inning with the game scoreless.  Every station has the live coverage and it goes on for 25 minutes.  You've got $2000 on the cardinals moneyline and you can't figure out if the game is actually still being played or if the game has stopped.  You turn on the radio and everyone is reporting on the assassination.  So you go onto covers and you make up a thread entitled:

"Is the game going on?"
