You realize that what you just said, if you believe it to be true, renders god impossible. If "something could not just always exist" (your words), then obviously god is included in that. Based on what you just said, I can just ask you who created god. So obviously by virtue of us being here, something always existed.

Funny you say that because I believe the Bible says god created the moon. That we know to be 100% false because we know how the moon formed. Funny how theists disregard things like that.

At some point you have nothingness.  You either believe a greater power, being, God, whatever your beliefs started something. 

If you don't believe that then you believe that something has always existed (makes no sense to me) or you believe something popped out of nothingness and started something right?

That's what God is. If he is a higher power and all knowing like its said then there is no way for us to grasp or understand the beginning. 

Just like in the book of Peter

Peter 3:8 a day to God is to humans 1,000 years, and 1,000 years is but one day to God.

We aren't suppose to understand it. We aren't that smart. Look at us?

How does it make a difference anyway?  So only parts of the bible are true?  God said he gave the people the moon...

So let's sum up.

I believe a greater power that cannot be understood started nothingness to something. Him being a greater power of knowledge is my answer of how he became nothing to something. That's where faith comes in to play.

You believe that something either always existed or something magically appeared and started everything.

On a stupidity scale we both sound pretty stupid. As a Christian ill rely on my faith. You guys can wait around for scientists.

Bill Maher is a well known atheist. He has admitted that being an atheist and being wrong is going to suck a lot worse than being a Christian and being wrong. 

Either way, I'll pray for you guys. If there is no God then I'm not hurting anything. I'm just wasting my time. If there is, maybe I can hook y'all up
