It's such a joke in today's world I cannot understand why people think/follow this absurdity....

Not trying to be a jokestar/funny/argumentative but seriously....If you really believe I ask you to question WHY? Was it something you learned as a child (since you probably heard pot will kill you) was it something you made up (since it made sense at that moment) was it something that comforted you (since that seems to be the strongest answer).....Seriously dude, religion, have you contemplated/thought about what you're saying/thinking/believing? Seriously???? Do you comprehend SPACE (Lighty Years) hell evolution including LEMURS on some fucking island off Africa called Madagascar (since they "EVOLVED") or countless other species that have "EVOLVED" but evolution is a flaw..,Yet it can be proven, how bout the Imaginary figure that is said to cover 10 trillion light years and understand everything that's going on????

It's not only common sense, but intelligent thought! If god is so great then y did a 9 yr old girl (twin) get raped and killed in my state not so long ago? Was it meant to teach her brother some life lesson? Seriously dude this inocomptence will soon end by you and any religious fuck who explains "god" had something to prove. If that's the case then Im at war w/ him as well, just fucking insane/ridiculous and fucking cruel. God and i will have some words is he's really out there, NO DOUBT!!!!

My opinion of the reasons people are religious:

1.  They were indoctrinated at an early age and often.
2.  There was a tramatic event where they turned to religion out of desperation.
3.  Lack of intelligence.
4.  A need to have answers to the unanswerable.

My opinion is that the above cover 90% of believers.

No doubt man, it seems so basic. But for some reason this intellect shunned??? I should specify when I say some REASON, it's clearly a power grab, no doubt. Understanding how history and "civilizations" have evolved, religion is like todays skin. If a war started on black/white lines it wouldn't matter who believes what, so religion has based its concept on that fear/matter. Not to say 1 is better than another, but that's a knife kept in the back pocket

Mine was quite simple:

1.  Crack addict has a child with a disability that suffers from numerous health problems....can't even graduate from high school....can't get a job.......and dies from cancer at 18.  Goes to heaven though.

2.  Same crack addict has an abortion and the soul of the aborted fetus goes to heaven.

This is a great example of how the atheist movement has turned into a hate group. Mwhit82 no doubt is advocating the imprisonment of all theist/Christians based solely on their beliefs. That is no different than locking up all white (insert any race) people simply because they're white.

All in the name of declaring that there is no God based solely on man's feeble attempts to control man through religion. I think you atheist could free yourselves of the mental prison that you're in when you stop equating God with religion. That seems to be the crux of your issue. For the new atheist on the thread I will point out as I have before that God is real you don't need a religion to converse with God. You can go direct. The bible is a guide for living. It covers all aspects of man's condition. God doesn't condone violence, rape and murder. These conditions are covered in the bible in stories to make a point. But if your spirit, mind and soul are so clouded with lies you will miss the point and that's what has happened to you guys. 
You try to use  science as a weapon against Christians. Enlightened Christians realize that God is the head scientist. Theories about the Earth being 6,000 years old, evolution being a lie and other misguided fundamentalist ideas are ridiculous. But what the atheists have done is taking these antiquated ideas and try to use them as the fundamental reason why there is no God. This position is just as wrong. Like they say 2 wrongs don't make a right. Your reasoning for rejecting God are flawed and based on a fundamentalist notion that God is keeping score and sending everybody to hell that doesn't meet his standard.  Again this isn't God, that's man attempt to control man.
This is what God is all about-Love and Forgiveness. God doesn't judge or send anyone to hell. What God has in place is Universal Law also known as karma, cause and effect and other names. This law is impersonal and for lack of a better term is the disciplinarian of the Universe. This is why truly evil people never succeed in their goals on this plane of existence. The list is long but you get the idea, Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Idi Amin etc. Others on a smaller scale, Dahmer, Green River Killer, Manson and many more. That's how the Universe operates and that's God's law. The hell you experience is separation from God on a spiritual level. What kind of punishment if any after this life is debatable. We do know that the original Greek translation of Hell is Hades which means underground or being buried. 
I could get very deep into all of this but I just don't have the time. The main point of you arguing based on fundamentalist ideas of Christianity is like debating with a child that Santa Claus doesn't exist. It's the same thing. 
Spiritual development is like a learning process. I used to debate Fundamentalist, Jehovah's Witnesses and others of this ilk all the time. Then I realized or was taught that you really can't argue with someone's perception of God. As long as they believe that is a starting point and hopefully they will progress from there. Some do and some don't but again the atheist argument is flawed from it's very foundation because your whole argument is based on a outdated, fundamentalist view of God.
Now your rebuttal to all of this could be "well that's just your opinion" and you're right. I could also throw that right back at you. But the rubber meets the road on Law. The scientific laws that are being discovered are amazing and we're learning more everyday. These laws show beyond a doubt a strict order to the Universe an order designed by a higher power by whatever name you want to call it. That is a Truth that can never be refuted by anyone. So in closing I suggest that the atheist stop trying to connect God to fundamentalism and using that as the banner for saying God doesn't exist. It simply doesn't work.

I am merely saying that the bible has PROVED me incorrectly..

THE BIBLE NEVER STATES what is worse, therefore it is NOT UP to me to judge what is worse......I can have an opinion, but as the bible shows, it is NOT right.....

The bible shows me not to judge, the bible never tells me what is worse, therefore, whatever answer , because the bible is my moral compass, i will be wrong in my answer because i have no reference to say what is worse, but as i confirmed, both are sins, but what is worse, is not for me to decide....

Race is not a choice.  Religion is.

So while I am not advocating locking anyone up, I will point out your lack of discrimination between the two - which is frightening.

What authority does any justice system have to enforce laws under your viewpoint?

You have said that nobody has the right to decide if murder is worse than a lie - because absolute morality does not offer any subjectivity. 

So, that being said - are you proposing anarchy?  A logical conclusion to someone who believes this way is that he is an anarchist.  Absolute morality exists, so you know what you cant do - but you cant determine severity.  So, either you have to punish all murderers and liars the exact same way, or not at all.

Which is it Rostos?

My Doctrine tells me NOT to judge, no matter..Even if i say murder is worse than Lying, what good is it? Am i going to send that soul to hell ? Am i in charge sending souls to either state? Wrong! The bible says do not lie and not murder.....It doesnt say which one is worse, furthermore, it also says not to judge. There is only one judge....God has NOT REVEALED which one is worse fo rhis reasons, it could OBVIOUSLY very well be that murder is worse than lying, but God has not revealed it THEREFORE we are in NO position to make judgement.....

Locking up people based on race or their spiritual beliefs is still wrong and just because you have obviously forgotten what country you live in, ILLEGAL! So that tells me we must obviously be dealing with a kid or some mentally inadequate adult male that doesn't have a clue about any of this except to spew out hate speech regarding putting Christians in jail. Other than Jagrfury this guy has got to be the biggest piece of work to post on this thread. I don't remember anyone advocating imprisoning Christians and then turning around and denying that he said that when the post is quite clear.

But why Vanzack would support such a preposterous notion as that is beyond me and to justify it by saying simply because it's a choice that makes it ok. I truly don't understand that position but I guess the hate that permeates atheism is growing exponentially now.

Simply an observation on my part but I have notice a few things about the atheist on this thread. Very few if any have done any real research on the history of Christianity. They have simply glossed over the bible, don't understand the stories and draw wrong conclusions. They never seem to answer any real questions but insist that you answer theirs. They haven't taken up a serious challenge presented to them by me or others. We have had brilliant scholars on this thread give lengthy dissertations on the bible and Christianity in a Professorial  type atmosphere. Only to be dismissed summarily as nothing more than propaganda. One would think that since they thirst for this "proof and evidence" business that they would have eaten that up. But no they're simply not interested in advancing themselves in any way other to continue scurrying around like rats endlessly looking for cheese.  In addition all logic has completely left the building in their posts. They seem to have a moving values system, where what's blue today is red tomorrow only to be green the next. Quite amazing actually and when you point out their inconsistencies in their arguments they resort back to the personal attacks and other straight out of the atheist playbook strategies. I find it quite amazing that no matter what site you go to all the atheist have the same slogans. At least Bill Maher (my favorite atheist) is funny with his. I could hang out with that guy anytime and we would have a great time. His railings against religious hypocrites are very funny and very accurate. Even though I obviously don't agree with his point of view at least he's original, funny and he's consistent. This group here has a mobile atheist philosophy. They change it to fit whatever they're talking about in a endless game of mental masturbation.

Read above what I wrote, and then read what you wrote. 

You repeat my point, almost exactly - but not only dont know you are repeating my point - at the same time you are agreeing with me you say you are disagreeing with me!!  I say that since nobody can judge severity of morality, you should be against the justice system because nobody can judge whether murder is worse than a lie - and then you basicallly tell me Im wrong but just repeat what I said.
