I feel an answer along the lines of "we'll never completely understand God's way" coming. Which would be fitting because that is where it usually ends up anyway.  

Our family has this debate a few times a year (usually at holidays). I got into it with my sister in law at Christmas and this is where it ended (a lot of unanswered questions but a still the "I still know what I know and I know God exists" approach).  I'm OK with that. It's her life.  But I can't just dismiss the things that don't make sense to me.

I tried to explain that to these Einsteins but of course they know everything and System rejected that idea because according to him all English words are spelled the same in English speaking countries. The stupidity that comes from the atheist on this thread is nothing short of astonishing. Seriously. They press you on answering a question and yet they have NEVER answered any of my questions or challenges. When they have been pressed they give one word answers that make no sense and then of course they start their usual bag of bullshit about circular fallacies and so forth.

This isn't a criminal trial my brother we're talking about God here. The days of burning women at the stake are long gone thank goodness. But there is still no excuse for you to keep hiding behind the lies that atheism has created. So if you want to continue to chase your tail like some confused dog go right ahead. I stand behind the words I speak. You ideology is one that is created to waste your life on bullshit. A never ending quest for information, evidence and proof that doesn't exist. That's why it's called faith. You're like the guy studying about business but never doing anything about it or making any progress. While theists are growing spiritually and learning. At the end of the day what do you have? A bunch of theories which if proven do nothing more than validate the idea of a Higher Power but because you're so caught up in the ego world you're too stubborn or stupid (take your pick) to recognize it. Meanwhile you have done absolutely nothing for your spiritual development because you don't even believe you have a spirit because there is no proof or evidence that will satisfy you of such. But yet in your warped mind we are the ones that's crazy.

So here have atheists asking for Christians to pray for the deaths of children, commit suicide in the name of getting to heaven faster. Wow and that makes sense to you guys. Is there anybody else that even questions why I am saying that the atheist movement has become a hate group. When you can sit there and justify killing and suicides based on some bizarre notion that that will get you to heaven and that God will forgive you no matter what. What is the next step? Why don't we just go on a killing spree and take everybody to heaven. WTF is wrong with you people. Have you just lost all sense of compassion and love. Oh let me guess. There is no proof or evidence that love exist only our perception so there is no such thing as love. There is a special place for you guys that insist on following this path of lies.

Yes, that is good.  It's also good that they don't still punch holes in peoples' heads to let the demons out when they are ill.  

Isn't it at least possible that some of the things people believe today are equivalent in absurdity to some of the things we did in the past?

At the time, burning people at the stake and punching holes in heads was seen as normal.

Two scenarios:  1.  Fetus is aborted and goes to heaven and has forever lasting life in peace and tranquility.  2.  Child is born to a crack mom.  Has a disability and isn't even able to graduate high school.  He lives a life without a job (can't get one) and deals with years and years of health problems.  Gets cancer at age 18 and ends up suffering for 2 years, dies a terribly painful death, and ends up in heaven and has forever lasting life in peace and tranquility.

Love is a feeling.  And it's open to interpretation.  It's not an entity. Love may or may not be "true" depending on who you talk to.

If you want a 'god', go back tens of thousands of years and worship like the first monkies that began to reason. Worship the one god you can see....the sun. It is indeed the giver of all.

This thread is taking a definite turn to the bizarre. Hutch you have repeatedly asked me money as if that is to prove my faith in God. I believe in that pea brain of mine that the 2 are mutually exclusive, so no there will be no money forth coming to you for said purpose. I have never said that aborted fetuses go to heaven. That is your argument with someone else. As I have stated before not all Christians share the same beliefs. So we can stop with the never ending hypotheticals. 
Since you are so deeply involved in this conversation now why don't you take on my challenge to the atheist. I will repeat once more for the late arrivals. Find an atheist who has converted to some sort of theism and asked them why and what made them changed their way of thinking. I think you might be surprised as to what they say. After you have done that come back here and report your findings. I am not asking you to agree with them, simply report what they say. That's all. To prevent the counter argument of finding atheists who were once Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist or some other theist religion. I have already covered that their answer would be something related to the religion. 
Since I have stated numerous times that atheist are cowards this is your chance to take the atheist mantle, prove to us that you really aren't cowards and seek out an ex atheist for their answer. We are anxiously awaiting for one brave atheist to take the challenge. Will it  be you or will you just stand cowardly behind these lies you have constructed your life around in fear of finding out that you're wrong. Who knows maybe I will be the one standing in shock with your findings. There's the challenge lets see if there are any atheist on this thread with the cajones to take it up.

There are many instances of man not being able to comprehend or interpret information properly. When John the Apostle wrote the book of Revelation. He couldn't understand everything he was seeing. He could only write based on his present day understanding. Just like if you were to peer into the future 500 years from now. There would be things that you wouldn't understand but you would write about it in 2012 words. All of these primitive practices are based on their present understanding. Sure when alien life forms came to Earth many people thought they were Gods and worshiped them as such. Many of our legends and stories of today can be traced back to alien visitors. Who knows where the fiction ends and facts begin, hard to tell. We know that different events happened but we still don't know what it all means. But to say that because men of 2000 years ago believed that the Earth was flat, demons could be cut of your head, aliens were Gods means that there is no God because of their beliefs is ridiculous. God is over all. Yes you have Christians that believe that life on other planets doesn't exist. Does that mean that all life in the known and unknown Universe ceases to exist because of this thought? Of course not. Something doesn't exist or not exist based on your opinion. There are Truths and there are facts. God is a Truth whether you accept it or not. Doesn't matter. Some people want facts to back up the existence of God. Whether you find those facts is irrelevant to his existence. Of course to you hard core atheist this makes no sense and you will twist it around because that's what you do. Good for you. Carry on with this fantasy that you have created. One day the Truth will hit you as it has many former atheist and the question you will ask is "Why did I waste my life on an endless journey of nothingness when all that there is within me." That is my point!

I am happy that after what happened to the baby, it ended up in heaven...

So let me ask you a question....

Do the ends of the baby ending up in heaven justify the means to get there?

Let me know, when one of your partners is pregnant, i might just come around and stab her in the gut, just enough for the partner to survive, but the baby will die and get to heaven...

You wont be upset will you?

I will say that I have known people from Australia and even though I don't know how they may have spelled heaven. I will say just like we have in the United States where different regions and different ethnic groups speak different. Who are we to say how all Australians spell heaven.  I have known people from Jamaica and Belize and even though these people speak English sometimes I can't understand a word they're saying. Point is how can you tell somebody from another country how to speak or spell a word that they say they're spelling correctly based on their culture. I do believe that that is being pompous and arrogant at best and severely intolerant at worst. We as Americans have got to stop thinking that we are the only ones with all the right answers. There is a whole world out there and people know their culture and society better than we do.

so then it shouldn't be hard to give me some proof that they spell it that way...I am not telling anyone how they should spell something, I just don't think it's spelled that way...prove me wrong...
