I am not rich, I only make modest income. I make more than average but malpractice insurance is killing my profession.

The erection is lasting from a prescription? It could cause liver damage, impotence, and low sperm count if you keep using it when you don't need it.  Masterbation will not help, neither will sex.  Please stop using medication that is not meant for you (stay away from your father's medicine cabinet)

Serious question if you are a doctor.
 
What about health insurance?  It kills me.  As a non-working person, I need to get my own health insurance for me and the family.  It is crazy what you have to go through and what you have to pay to get it.
 
When I used to work I went to the doctor.  It turns out everything you go to the doc for turns up in an MIB file (medical information bureau).  So when you apply for independent insurance, they ask you 1000 questions about if you have ever seen or even asked your doc about ANYTHING.
 
And of course they will only insure people that are totally healthy, so when they see in the docs notes that you asked about cancer that only turned in to a normal mole, they wont insure you.
 
This has to change.  Any thoughts?

This is another crazy thing.
 
Got to the doc for a physical.
 
If you have insurance, even if you pay 100% (pre deductable) - you pay like 60 bucks.
 
If you dont have insurance, and pay cash instead of getting the bill later through an insurance company - you pay 200 bucks.
 
Its so backwards.

I just had elbow surgery on the 12th and it doesn't seem to have helped in any way. My range of motion is pretty much the same as before the surgery. Very little improvement.
So far I've been told its too early to see any improvement. How long will it take to see any improvement? What are my chances of having another operation? Do I need another recommendation (4th one)?

I have all the symptoms of Swine flu here in California. Strong fever, headache, hard cough with mucous, body aches, appetite loss....
Do I have it? It's the middle of the summer.

Ya have to cycle the anti fungal pills kemosabee. No other way around it.. The pills are only about 15 dollars each and hammer your liver for 12 weeks.

Sounds like you have the regular flu, monitor your fever.  If you have a high fever you have swine flu.

Surgery for Chromes disease. When you open up a person and have to remove blockage or whatever from his intestines how much of a chance is there, that he is going to die?

Reforms are coming.  Until then, get the cheapest one you can find.  You have to understand something. You are one major illness away from bankruptcy.  No matter how much money you make a year, the hospitals will clean you out.  Get one that could help you for the basics.  If anything major happens, you will have to declare bankruptcy.  HEALTH INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER MAJOR WORK.  It is not designed for that.  Later, MEDICARE will take care of you

You are looking at least 8 weeks for full range movement.  Stop masterbating with that arm or any other movement (while working).  The more you over extend the further you delay your recovery.  Expect at least 8 weeks.  I can always amputate if you are tired of it.
