How would you go about asking a girl who is a teller at a bank out?

Legwand, you seem to get in to some funny situations involving ladies...I take it the Eharmony thing didnt work out for ya?? BOL regardless, but some of these ideas are semi legit, other ideas are flat out HILARIOUS.........keep us updated

Send her a text message, or a note to go along with the flowers saying:

"Slap your face. Treat you like a dirty little person. Put my cock in your ass and then shove it down your throat"

I'd ask her co-worker if she is married or has a boyfriend first. Save yourself the embarrassment. Tough to ask her out while she is working though because you are a customer and she has to be nice to you. 

Next time your in the bank-show her this pic. She'll definitely go out with you.

Legwand,I worked in banks for 7 years here and i ve seen clients asking out employees in the past,some worked some didnt.

Teller girls talk about clients a lot,trust me,"this guy was cute" "oh surprised this one has x amount of money" etc anything.

here comes the advises:

1)Do not pass her a note.Girls want certainty and some brave manner,you dont want her to think you are nerdy,introvert,without self confidence.

Secondly,most bank robberies are made with passing a note that asks to give money or else she ll be shot etc,without reading your note,she or any employee can push alarm button for robbery and police can be there in 2 minutes beating your ass,that will lower your chances to date her in the future

You can send flowers to her workplace,then following day when you do your transaction,you can ask her if she liked the flowers,and you can ask her out.

of course u could know her name from name tag,find from facebook or leave notes to her etc etc but i think man up and say straight to her face.ask if u can grab lunch with her.

This worked for me once.  I went to the bank one day early, just to make sure she was there.  Go back later and bring in some rolled up change, like 12 bucks worth, nothing major.  And go at a good time, not too late in the day when it is crazy.....go just after lunch.  I gave her my rolled up coins and said.......I see you in here all the time and I love your smile.  You know a lot about me on that computer, but I know nothing about you.  Would you like to go out to dinner sometime.  She turned to her equally young co-worker and said what do you think.  He's always nice to me, I think you should go.  We went out a few times, just no connection that way but it was fun while it lasted.  I still banked at that bank and she graduated from college and was on to bigger and better a few months later.  Take a shot man, be nice and go for it.  Remember, you regret the things you dont do more in life than the acutal thing you do.....Good Luck!

have u created any conversation with her in the past....for example i converse with the lady even through the drive  thru every time i go there, which isnt often at all. she knows my name and is friendly as can be.  she knows where i work, i know where she works.  in sales its called building a rapport with her.  Connect on some level.  This should only take a couple of times.  i would advise you do that first if you have not already and then ask her out.  you're making too big a deal about it.

I have used this before and it works( in HS and College anyways)...........

Hey, 90% of communication is "non-verbal", so you have to ask yourself, "What am I communicating and how is she responding"........BTW  don't you know how direct deposit and ATM's work ?????? Come smooth and strong or don't bother.

but with humor & discretion you could pull it off.  it's not impossible. 

i'd suggest:

1) establish a little report with her.  i don't know how long you've seen her - but in situations like this, it's best to get her to know that you exist!!  dont' just ask her out out-of-the-blue - you will creep her out. 

I suggest going in there during off peak times - like around 3pm... go to her window while doing some transaction - then chat about something casual and non-threatning. how her week is going? the weather? the traffic on that street.  whatever. and try to pick up on an interest of hers and talk about a little. do that a couple of times -  if you can make her laugh - your odds go up dramatically.

but if she's attractive, no question some random d-bag is hitting her a few times a week. so you have to stand out as being classy and sincere.

2) i suggest asking her out for lunch. just ask what she typically does for lunch and ask if she'd like to join for you on ___day since I have an appt out this way. Have a specific day in mind... dont' just say "sometime".  Have a plan. If she's into it, it won't matter, plan around her availability.

Depending on her reaction, maybe you can exchange #'s. 

3)  You gotta have a sense of humor... make it come across like it's not a big deal!!! 

If she turns you down - just smile & say... "oh, that's OK, i understand. you just seem really cool.  Well, I'll see you next week."

4)  Hopefully you don't have $17.68 in your account!! Or liens and other red-flags.

5)  Don't do the flowers thing. To me it's too aggressive and could come across as creepy. Also, the whole branch will know!!! Dangerous move. And doesn't sound like you know too much about her - no ring doesn't mean there's no BF in the pic. Save yourself 30 bux - and embarassment!! That only works in the movies.

---Lastly, on a side note. I was in the same situation a few years ago. There was a girl that boiled my blood at my old credit union. We used to chit-chat when I came it to do my business at her window. We had a pretty good raport going. I did ask for the lunch date and she suggested coffee.... we did meet for a coffee early one morning... and she told me that she was leaving the bank in a month for law school in AZ.  Oy!! Anyway, small victory.....

I'll tell you right now... the guys trying to say that it would be awkward or weird to ask her out in front of other customers are the same guys I walk right by in a bar to talk to a girl. It happened today actually... I was on the bus and a man in a wheelchair came on but there were some people sitting in the 'priority seating'... They eventually got up and moved but left the old man to fend for himself. Basically the whole bus had their attention to the front and this old man... so I got up from close to the back and walked all the way to the front to pop the seats up out of the way and help him secure his wheelchair... Got like 3 separate looks from chickas who wanted me to handle them just like I handled the situation. 

But basically, you should go up to her with somewhat of a witty line (too witty and it comes off scripted, not witty enough and you didn't charm her) and just be yourself/smile. All the girls will swoon over your confidence and charm... all the guys will wish they had done it first. This will beat the letter/flower idea every time... I guarantee it. You can't put box up on pedestal and show that you've thought long and hard about your approach... when you come with a well crafted letter or that big flower scheme; all she will be thinking about is how much effort you're putting in. Some dopey girls may fall for this but most will assume that she's out of your league because you've already portrayed it like that. Striking up a conversation about a current event may peak some interest... or maybe give her a little neg then wrap it in with a compliment ('I usually don't like XYZ (short hair), but it looks really nice on you'... 'You and I would never get a long.... we're too much a like!'... 'Are you a gold digger? and if so.. does my bank account stand a chance?'

Seriously, never be afraid to just do what you want to do. Forget what people think. I know that probably sounds cliche but really think hard about it and I'm sure you can remember a time when some guy did something and you envied him for it... and couldn't believe he had the balls to do it. BE THAT GUY.

In a similar predicament but for me it happens to be a nurse in a hospital unit where my father was for a few days.  Might just try the thank you card and get together for coffee/drink thing
