It is this same attitude that is the great cause of greed and selfishness, which is the source of all wars.

God is Love, without love there is no life, because people will kill each other. As much of the world is doing as we speak. They have no love, They are without God.

Guess you never read the bible or are a typical cherry picker...lmao

It is a struggle between good and evil, Love and Hatred.

please, without using "god works in mysterious ways".... what are yur thoughts on the following; im not being a prick, and wont make fun of yur answers...to each their own... (im not speakn for anyone else here though)
    1) whats up with all the failed universes? 2) whats up with millions of years of nothn...then millions of years of dinosaurs? 3) gods messengers (aka priests) have a brutal percentage of reported child molestation then covering it up, does that pass the sniff test for you? 4) the stuff in the bible about the size of the stick u should beat yur slave with and that time god wiped out a whole village (women and children) because they prayed to a golden cow. wtf??? 5) why havent we ever seen (let alone met) any eras popular god or geographical versions of a god? 6) lets assume god exists and did make everything...where did he come from again??? an explosion of energy couldnt just come from nothn, but a guy with the ability or power to create everything was just there and always was there???

good luck getting anything even close to resembling an answer..now 8 pages deep and this moron rostos has yet to give one fuk.ing strait answer to one single, simple question....you can just go ahead and bet the house, the wife, the farm on the fact you aint getting one here either.
but i can answer on behalf of the idiots if you wud like??...well,wen all the bad stuff happens its because god gave us free will.....but wen the good stuff happens its because of the infinite and benevolent brilliance and wisdom of the same god...see how that works??...amazing aye??

All the scientific evidence we have is that the universe began to exist. That is, all space, time and energy BEGAN to exist.

Everything that begins to exist has a cause, therefore, by logical deduction, the CAUSE of the universe must be spaceless, timeless and immaterial.

The question is, what is spaceless, timeless and immaterial and acts in causal relations? Classical Theism through the ages has described God as spaceless, timeless and immaterial.

Also abstract objects, such as numbers or number sets, but these don't act in causal relations. For example, the number 7 doesn't cause anything.

Therefore, the cause of the universe is God.

I don't expect anyone here to attack the premises in the argument with constructive arguments, rather, I would expect to see mockery and swearing....After all, that's what one refers to when they don't have anything constructive to say.

    1) whats up with all the failed universes?

    Failed universes?

     2) whats up with millions of years of nothn...then millions of years of dinosaurs?

Millions of years of nothing? Time is only an issue to finite beings. God is not a finite being.

    3) gods messengers (aka priests) have a brutal percentage of reported child molestation then covering it up, does that pass the sniff test for you?

Priests like everyone else, are sinners. They to succumb to there desires and temptations and out of there free will, some commit horrible acts.

    4) the stuff in the bible about the size of the stick u should beat yur slave with and that time god wiped out a whole village (women and children) because they prayed to a golden cow. wtf???

A couple of points. These laws were designated for a specific group of people in a specific nation (Israel) approx. 2500 years ago. In regards to slaves. These were voluntary slaves, like ordinary people that go into the labour force to put a roof over there head and put food on the table. We too are slaves. Furthermore, the law set to treat slaves with respect, the beating of slaves were reactionary, that is, if they breached the law. They didn't command the slaves to be beaten, only if they breaches the law. The law commanded them to respect slaves. These laws don't and haven't applied since Christ fulfilled the Mosaic law.

    5) why havent we ever seen (let alone met) any eras popular god or geographical versions of a god?

Have you gone searching for God?

    6) lets assume god exists and did make everything...where did he come from again??? an explosion of energy couldnt just come from nothn, but a guy with the ability or power to create everything was just there and always was there???

As I stated, everything that BEGINS to exist has a cause. God is eternal in the past, that is, he never began to exist, he exists necessarily. if God never began to exist, then he had no cause.

Yes, you are EQUIVOCATING voluntary slavery with INVOLUNTARY slavery.

You, I and the vast majority of the world are voluntary slaves. We go into the workplace in order to provide a roof over our heads, put food on the table.

Essentially, if you are employed, you have to.

    - be at work a certain time, dress a certain way, can have lunch a certain time, talk to your colleagues and clients a certain way, take holidays a certain time, leave work a certain time. I am also sure your boss has been a prick on some occasions.

Sure, if you don't like it you are free to leave but when you start a new employment which you will HAVE to in order to put food on the table, the same process applies.

Oh, and if you went via a recruiting agency, you technically got sold into your job.

Yes, the vast majority of the world are slaves, voluntary slavery, like in the bible, not INVOLUNTARY slaves.

How do we know they weren't involuntary slaves?

""He who kidnaps a man, whether he sells him or he is found in his possession, shall surely be put to death." (Exodus 21:16)

When you think about it, that's what we are, VOLUNTARY slaves.

When the word slavery gets mentioned, we immediately think of involuntary slavery such as 17th century Americas, when Africans were captured and forcibly brought to work on plantations.

The 2 are very different. Funny how we don't see ourselves as slaves, but that's what we essentially are.

    Guess you missed this one:

"However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way." (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)

    sounds voluntary to me...

    Here's a good one:

"When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slaves dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)

So you can beat the sh.. out of them, just don't kill um. (You're right, I've had many jobs like this)

You and your god are two sick MFers..."voluntary slavery"

    Can't wait for more apologetics...

Nothing like taking a bible quote out of its context hey? This was an alternative to the massacre of enemy populations in wartime and the starvation of the poor during famine

    "

And masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him" - Ephesians 6:9.

So we see that they should be treated with respect. They don't encourage them to go around and beat them up.

The quote you give is "reactionary" or a consequence of an action the slave did.
